Dr. Moriah L Tarpey, MD, FAAP

Dr. Tarpey joined Southwest Medical Group in the fall of 2020. She is practicing at our primary care clinic as well as at Southwest Memorial Hospital caring for newborns through early college-age students, well and sick alike. Dr. Tarpey enjoys all areas of pediatric care, but has a passion for helping families to navigate complex medical concerns in children. She has furthermore developed a heart for working with families that are fighting addiction. Dr. Tarpey has always enjoyed breastfeeding medicine and recently became certified as a Lactation Educator.
She previously practiced pediatrics in Yakima, WA and Grand Junction, CO. She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine after earning her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She also attended college at St. Louis University and graduated summa cum laude with a dual major in Biology and Theology. She is board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow …of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
