Horrible person

Rudely informed me he wasn't willing to help with my hand problem and ushered me out of his office, then billed me for the office visit!

He's a workers comp insurance Dr, non-practicing surgeon mercenary for hire to screw you over

First I must say Dr. Button was not rude and he did maintain a professional attitude through out my exam. However, some probing questions I felt really were attempts to diagnosis my feelings of my place of employment. His assessment of my injury was like the ones from my previous doctors. My sistuation was based on a violent act and many witnesses were there as well as others being hurt. This is as far as I am willing to go into details. It was really an unfortunate event for all involved. Some statements that he made were in regards of my employer and what they are really about... He stated "##### is not their mission statement, I like to compare them to the Godfather... It's just business". Another statement was he didn't know where my employer was going with this, but it could go either way & that he had worked for them previously and has experience with their system of not always being fair. He said that he was hopeful for me & encouraged me in that he was very confident i would… heal... in time. All in all I felt that he had empathy for my situation. Well weeks later I got the news that he did not agree with my doctors assessment and felt my injury did not appear to be work related. This completely took me threw a loop as it didn't seem to be where he was going in the assessment. I don't know where to go from here, but this was my experience. Hope it is helpful to someone

I was referred to this doctor by my workers compensation insurance company for something called IME. My attending surgeons (two of them) had declared me disabled based on all my medical injury records, diagnosis and prognosis. The insurance company, however, declined and referred me to this doctor for the so-called independent medical examination.Upon arrival at his office, which was barren, desolate and a smell of gloom and morbidity permeated it, his assistant met me with a morbid look as if to tell me: "Now you're ours!"Having waited for 45 minutes, he finally arrived 30 minutes late for my appointment and I was lead to a dilapidated interrogation room.Instead of examining me as I expected, he proceeded to question the validity of my injury. When I expressed surprise, he rudely interrupted and demanded to know details about my social and family status!I stopped him, advised him that I was videotaping the session with a micro pen recorder; he turned into a witch and started yelling.… I terminated the session and now my attorney has summoned him for deposition.I will not quit until a full board review of his license is called for.

Dr. Button operated both on myself and my son. Perfect results for both of us! Excellent Dr. Never had any residual problems. A very caring individual. Staff rates A+++++++. A very satisfied patient.

This is a man who was a surgeon; not so anymore! Instead, he has dedicated his professional services to being a paid mercenary for insurance companies. Patient interests receive absolutely no considerations from him what so ever. Patients do not pay him; insurance companies are his paymasters. He obediently does battle on behalf of insurance companies in workers compensation cases.If you ever get referred to this shyster, you have the right to refuse and request another doctor. Do yourself a great favor, refuse him with contempt.

THE DOCTOR WAS VERY RUDE AND ALREADY HAD HIS MIND MADE UP BEFORE HE SAW ME. DURRING MY APPOINTMENT HE YELLED AT ME SEVERAL TIMES AND WHEN HE ASKED ABOUT MY JOB AND I TOLD HIM ABOUT IT HE SAID THAT I WAS WRONG HE HAD BEEN TO MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND KNEW WHAT I DID. MY UNDERSTANDING OF A IME DOCTOR IS THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IMPARTIAL TO MY CASE BUT THIS DOCTOR WAS NOT.

Dr. Button's office appeared like it was "staged for the day" when I was there for an IME. He started out the exam seemingly professional but became arrogant, critical, and demeaning, which alerted me as to his competency. I will further check his records w/OR State Medical Board as to his reputation and reprimands. My report from him contains gross errors and fabrication so I will be fair to say that in my case he is incompetent "to the best of my knowledge and belief".
