Dr. Morton Chester Gluck, MD

IS SHORT TEMPERED, DOES NOT LIKE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. DEFINITLY TIME TO RETIRE.

I was Dr. Gluck’s patient for ten years and was satisfied with his services. He seemed a competent responsible physician which he was. At one point in my treatment by him he misdiagnosed a pulmonary problem I was experiencing. Dr. Gluck gave a diagnoses of bronchitis in which I was given x-rays, a cat scan and over time rounds of various antibiotics. My problem continued. I consulted other physicians including an infectious disease specialist . Finally an internist had properly diagnosed that I was experiencing pulmonary symptoms caused by acid reflux. When I reported this during a visit with Dr. Gluck he behaved in a way that I hadn’t seen before. He was cruel and sarcastic towards me. He made disparaging comments about my consulting other physicians implying I was hypochondriacal. When I asked him questions concerning management of the reflux he became hot headed and was at a point yelling at me. Afterward when I was checking out with the receptionist Dr. Gluck came by. I told him I… had one more question. He sharply snapped at me “what is it?”.When I asked he just stared at me with rage in his face and walked away. During that visit his behavior towards me was utterly sadistic. I was shocked. I decided to never see him again. His misdiagnoses was acceptable. No professional is perfect. He previously treated me with success. It was his cruel and abusive behavior that made my decision. Dr. Gluck had revealed an ugly side of himself I previously never saw. Obviously he was enraged with himself for misdiagnosing me. Instead of taking responsibility and containing himself he unprofessionally and irresponsibly acted his rage out on me. His behavior was deplorable!

Spent time with me to make sure I understood my condition. Talks straight, I have full confidence in Dr Gluck Excellent support staff.

Doctor Gluck has been my Internest for many years. He is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience. He has also treated me for asthma. His treatments and examinations are thorough and comprehensive. He addresses all issues and will follow-up personally to report lab results. He is a very dedicated physician who takes time to talk to the patient.

A routine test was overlooked at not done. When I came back for the next visit, he blamed me by saying didn't you realize you did not sign the form for the test. Time to retire.

He is my primary physician, and I am picky. He is very professional, really helps his patients on referrals when needed, and does a thorough examination every time I see him. One time he did miss my diagnosis, and I second guessed him and stopped a lung infection. But he really takes pains to listen to me and always gives a very excellent opinion.

Dr. Gluck is a true old-school professional. He listens and answers all my questions, and does not over-test or alarm me. He is so kind, and compassionate. He send me for scans when needed, and explains results in layman's terms. If there is a question he always calls right back. His girls- Daisy and Bertha- go above and beyond in compassion and getting the paperwork done quickly. I never have to ask twice.

My father was under the care of Dr. Gluck.He was diagnosed with lung cancer had onlya few months to live. Dr. Glucks care wasawful, subjected him to unnecessary test andshowed absolutly no compassion to the man.
