If you want someone to actually listen to your symptoms, find ANY OTHER doctor other than Dr. Abdo. He was outwardly rude concerning my presenting problem and didn’t even take the time to listen to my questions. His treatment plans seem to be throwing pills at you and whatever ones land in your mouth he prescribes. He is so apathetic towards patients and completely lacks any compassion. Run as far away from this place and doctor as you can.

We visited Dr.Abdo, for my son had adenoid. He suggested surgery, while he described a syrup for two weeks if he will gets better with it. We did see some progress, therefore we decided not doing the surgery. Unfortunately, now are regretting, we need to do the surgery. But, we heard Dr.Abdo has moved to different place. I wish I knew where he is, so we can go see him again.

Dr. Abdo has treated me several times and I think he is excellent at what he does. Always courteous and friendly making me feel at ease. He is very through and makes sure everything is taken care of properly.

DR. Abdo is very friendly, he explained every single thing and made sure i was aware of what is going on with my vocal cords and with the tumor found in my ear canal.... i would recommend him to anyone who is seeking a compassionate doctor

It was a simply traumatizing experience for my 11 year old daughter. Dr. Abdo did not talk to either myself or my daughter about the steps to cauterize her nose. He walked over, opened her nose with a metal tool, with no warning, which scared the **** out of her. Then he packed her nose with absolutely no warning except "hold still" while she cried having no idea what was coming next. So, she suffered through it for the next 15 minutes or so, bawling her eyes out. I then decided that she was too afraid, and he wasn't to touch my daughter after that. We left the building without the procedure being done. She is now afraid to get her nose taken care of, simply because he couldn't manage to walk her through what was going to happen during the appt even after I had said something about it. The worst doctor experience I've encountered in my life time, and it was worse with my daughter being the patient. The office staff were polite and courteous.

Extremely knowledgeable, caring and willing to listen. I have seen him for 3 different problems over the years and he has impressed me every time. One of Binghamton's best.

Dr. Abdo is an exceptional ENT. I saw him both for 3 different problems and everytime I was impressed with how well he diagnosed the problem. He listened to my concerns and made sure that I understood what was going on. His bedside manner is outstanding -- he is very compassionate and generous with his time. He accommodated me walk-in twice when I had an emergency despite a full schedule. To me he sets the gold standard the I measure doctors against. Highly recommended.

definitely one of the best doctors I've seen he knows what he is talking about, my son was miss diagnosed twice but when i saw him he knew right away what was the problem. and he explain why others would have missed it but I liked that he listen to me and explain things to me and put me at ease.
