Dr. Murray E Fox, MD

I was treated inappropriately by Dr. Fox 15 years ago as an 18 year old who had never been sexually active. He tore my heimen with his examining device, and it was awful. Finally making the connection years later as an adult of how invasive and disturbing this experience was for me.

My 4th baby died in utero. Dr Fox broke the news to us and helped me through the subsequent miscarriage. He cared for me during my next pregnancy and promised to deliver my daughter. He did deliver her. That was 36 years ago. Dr Fox is the most caring and supportive Dr I have ever had. He is easily my all-time Favorite! CV

Dr. Fox is excellent, courteous, kind and an outstanding doctor! I'm very thankful to him!

I personally have not at any issues with Dr. Fox as a doctor. He knows what he is doing and talks you through every step of the way. He delivered me and is still my mother's doctor and mine as well. However, I have never been treated so badly by all of the staff including scheduling, accounting, and nurses. If it was not for Dr. Fox I would never step into the office to Women's Specialists of Plano. They are truly to rudest people I have ever encountered in the medical profession. I hate having to call to get a prescription refill and/or make or change and appointment. Calling this office does nothing but put me in a bad mood and want to look for another doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Fox, however the office and staff are the worst.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fox's for 34 yrs. I consider him not just a care provider but a wonderful friend, I love him. Dr. Fox has a wonderful bed side manner that puts the patient at ease so you can ask questions which is a must for a gynecologist. He takes the time to talk after his exam and never acts rushed. Do yourself a favor and write questions down that you want to discuss, He will take the time to answer and explain. I have been to other doctors in the practice when I delivered. This is going to sound strange BUT other doctors want to discuss your issues and exam while you are still on the exam table. Sorry but that gives me the creeps. I find it difficult to have a conversation while wearing nothing but a paper vest and sheet. Dr. Fox's famous line is "Get dressed, I'll be right back to talk." You can't ask for more. Dr. Fox is an excellent surgeon you can trust. I have had a few procedures and his followup was exceptional. His staff is top notch,… I have always been happy as a patient. I will miss Jane. I would highly recommend him as a caregiver.

Dr. Fox is a Wonderful doctor. He made me feel very comfortable both in the examining room as well as allowed me to comfortably ask any questions I had. He was very courteous and has amazing bedside manner. He took the time to talk to me as a person instead of just a patient. I would definitely refer a friend or family member to Dr. Fox.

I'm 56 and Dr. Fox is the best doctor I have ever been to. He spent time with me, explained things and genuinely cared. His nurse is WONDERFUL!

At the age of 42, I was suffering from extremely heavy and long periods. I finally confided in Dr. Fox at my annual appointment and he was fast and accurate to diagnose this condition that I had been living with for quite some time. It turns out that I had a uterine fibroid cystjust onebut it was growing pretty fast and at the time of my exam it was the size of a grapefruit. Dr. Fox went over all of my options with me. I still wanted to have children, so a myomectomy (the surgical removal of a fibroid) was recommended. I did the surgery robotically and today, I have no symptoms, shorter and manageable periods and much lighter bleeding. Dr. Fox went above and beyond during this process. He explained everything thoroughly and knew exactly what he was talking about. He has been monitoring me and every step of the way I feel reassured and without doubt that he has my health and best interest at heart.
