Dr. Myo Swe Chang, MD

He is kind and straightforward. I recommend him and his medical care.

VERY DISAPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE W ITH HIM. WILL NOT RETURN, AND REQUESTING ANOTHER DR. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE.

Just collecting a check does not know or care for patient rights. Is a wast for the vetrans system. Has stated wrongfull information to patient and should by evaluated as a doctor in California and the VA system.

My experience with Dr. Chang has been completely positive. Contrary to the other rating I have found Dr. Chang quick to refer for testing and specialized doctors. I first saw Dr. Chang for a horse voice that had been diagnosed by Kaiser ad allergies for over a year. Dr. Chang did an exam and I saw a ENT doctor within one week and had surgery to remove a cancerous lesion within two days of that appt. Dr. Chang had always been quick to order special studies like an MRI and to give appropriate referrals. Dr. Chang has treated me for chronic pain to routine follow-ups for diabetes, blood pressure, severe hearing loss and in conjunction with my Cardio doctor following aortic valve replacement with a double bypass. My wife has been a nurse in the NICU for 30 years and also thinks highly of Dr. Chang. I will admit that he can be a little hard to understand at times but the visits and care are well worth the minor effort it takes to speak with him. One last thought, I have never felt rushed… during appointments. If you get St. Chang as your primary physician, your lucky.

This Dr. is very difficult to understand. Gives surface diagnoses and quickly send you on your way. You have to tell this Dr. repeatedly what you think is wrong which is difficult with his communication barrier. You usually have to ask a number of times before you can get him to schedule a test that you think you need.
