Dr. Myra Anne Henderson, DO

Although I have seen negative reviews, that has not been my experience at all! She is very direct and professional but showed great concern and compassion for my healthcare. She also performed a same day surgical procedure and was very kind to me and my friend. And insisted she would come out and speak to my friend when my procedure was finished because she thought text messages are impersonal. She is a wonderful provider and has many years of experience and it shows! Love her!

How are you still a doctor? You’re awful lady

How is she still practicing? To put it nicely, she is very rude, does not care about her patients, does not listen/educate patients and shouldn’t be practicing anymore??

I have never been to a doctor that was so rude. I wish I would have read the reviews before making an appt. Will never return.

Doctor Henderson brought my sweet girl into this world via c-section exactly 2 years ago today.I can't imagine having another OB after her.She has a strong personality but, I respect her and her honesty.

I was referred to Dr. Henderson by a Co-Worker. At first, I was nervous because I was transferring from my former doctor who is amazing! But, has decided to retire. I quickly realized there was nothing to be nervous about. Dr. Henderson was very kind and warm. Before examining me, she asked many questions about how I was doing. She took about 15 to 20 minutes just getting to know more about me and my family. Throughout the examination, she remained pleasant and encouraging. I found her to have a warm and caring spirit that allowed any concerns I had previously to disappear. The staff was also kind and accommodating. I am looking forward to a lasting doctor/patient relationship. Thank you Dr. Henderson and Staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Henderson for years...my regular Dr. found a polyp during a routine exam and referred me to her. I am a very large woman and my pap/pelvic exams had always been physically painful experiences for me. On that first visit, Dr. Henderson went in, found and removed the polyp and I never really even knew she was in there -no pain at all. Not even the pinch that was warned about. Year after year my exams have remained pain free. I have always found Dr. Henderson to be extremely polite and friendly and willing to answer any questions that I have and her wait times are not excessive. I have always been seen fairly promptly. There are several doctors in this practice and so other patients may be called back before you are but one should remember that they may be seeing a different doctor. My confidence in Dr. Henderson is such that when my mother who is in her 70's was forced to find a new gynecologist I did not hesitate to recommend Dr. Henderson. I would… recommend to to everyone.

This is my first pregnancy. I showed up 20 minutes early to my appt, because they asked me to come 15 minutes beforehand. I waited for an hour to be seen while other people who came in after me were in and out before I had even gone back. Once I was finally back to the room Dr. Henderson was in and out before I could even ask any questions. She was very rude and snippy when I did try to ask questions. I will not be going back to see her. I’m actually not even going back to that building.

She is very rude! I'm a young woman and I was referred by my doctor to her just to make sure things were right. I waited over an hour, when she came in and told her my problems she just looked at me like I was stupid. Also, i have a family history of ovarian cancer when she asked who it was I told her who she proceeded to ask if the person had chemo to which I responded no and she just looked at me and shook her head like I lied to her. Finally when she did the vaginal exam she just threw the drape back exposing my whole lower half. She then did the exams with a metal speculum which she didn't use any lubricant for. It was extremely painful! After I wanted to ask her some questions and when I did she was just snappy. I felt horrible after my appointment and even cried.

She almost caused me to lose my son. His umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and his heart rate kept dropping she kept telling me it was normal when he was born he wasn't breathing and she just laid him on my chest and I had to get him to breathe. She was rude the whole time and will never touch another one of my kids. I also have a friend who lost their baby because of her.
