Dr. Nabil Elias Srouji, MD

Don’t know where to start. Encouraged me to fix something that could have been left be. Doesn’t inform you of the risks. Called office with clear symptoms of a detached retina, told me don’t worry about it unless I got floaters, delay caused almost complete detachment several days later and when I went to the office he said if you had come In sooner we could have just lasered this. I had called 5 days earlier and had told them I was going out of town and should I and they said yes just call us if you get floaters. I already could not see out of half of my eye. All I can say is get a second opinion if you choose to use this guy. My vision has been permanently affected.

I have been seeing him since 2015 & I can describe his work with 1 word: Amazing!

Excellent doctor, he will take the time to answer all you questions and explain everything to you. He spoke to my wife and I before and after the surgery. He personally called me the day of surgery to check on me before leaving the office. All his staff is very helpful and polite. One of his staff members stayed late to get me pain medication at the pharmacy. Pharmacy didn't have first medication. You could not ask for a better doctor or staff members. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Superb Doctor! Excellent bedside manner. Explains condition/disease well. Repaired right macular hole. Tomorrow will repair left macular hole. Highly recommend Dr. Srouji. Good doctors are extremely busy.

He had his hand on the doorknob the whole time I was asking questions about his diagnosis. I have a rare eye disease, and was losing my vision. He had no information to give me. I had to ask the nurse to write down the name of my condition so I could research it on the internet. I went for a second opinion, and was immediately offered successful treatment. This was after Dr. Srouji told me there was nothing he could do for me. He was going to let me just lose my vision! I strongly urge you to reconsider seeing this dr.

Wait time was typical. Doctor waits on several patients at the same time. Staff does most of the work. Eye exam machine did not have removable chin rest papers for sanitary purpose. Did not see anything sanitized in my presence before use on my eye (i.e., eye pressure machine--actually touches eye surface). Has reputation for not spending enough time with patient. Initial visit may cost up to $1,200 and followups $800.
