Dr. Nadia A Gomez, MD

This review is not only for Nadia Gomez but her incompetent staff as well. When I first called to get an appointment with this doctor, they did not have her schedule for the entire month ahead. I was told I would have to keep calling back until it was available. I did so and made an appointment which was set about a month out. I then received a call and subsequent voicemail 3 days before the appointment saying that Nadia Gomez had to leave early that day and therefore cancel the appointment (I still have ALL voicemails related to this). First off, this is so unprofessional to cancel on a new patient when they set their appointment a month out (maybe more) in advance. This is not the worst of it. I received another voicemail the day of the appointment stating that Nadia Gomez was not listed as my OBGYN on my insurance and so I needed to call them to update this as well as schedule a new appointment. I am 100% positive Nadia Gomez is listed as my OBGYN but I called my insurance anyways.… Of course my insruance confirmed this (I'd attach a screenshot of my health insurance online account showing this but it has personal information listed). And the WORST to come. When I called Nadia Gomez's office, a staff member told me my appointment was never canceled and asked if I could still come in. Are you kidding me? I have two voicemails stating the appointment was canceled and then when I call in, am told it was never canceled??? Then when I attempted to reschedule, they couldn't offer me anything less than a month away. So let me get this straight. You're going to call and cancel on me and then not have any sort of appointment in the near future for me, even though YOU canceled on me??? The biggest take away from all of this is 1) Nadia Gomez does not respect patient's time and schedules and even health. If I have been waiting for a month to come in and you cancel on me, I should not be offered another appointment a month out 2) Her staff is completely incompetent and they have no idea what they are talking about. Do you want to entrust your health to people like this? I know I don't.
