Dr. Nadya Gabriele Swedan, MD

I have had ongoing knee issues for years and would visit my usual orthopedist for them. He's fine and competent but has his routine for visits that he *never* deviates from. Well, last week, I did something to my back and decided to see Nadya instead as I knew she would not be rushed and would give me her full attention. I am so glad I did as she immediately noticed that I was limping. When she examined me further, she saw my leg with the knee issue was now shorter than my other leg and can no longer fully extend. My regular doctor never noticed this and did not have me walk around when I had visited him two months prior to tell him I was limping. Long story short, Nadya realized quickly that it was my knee issue that was impacting my back, got me PT and gave me a referral to a knee surgeon she trusts to discuss potential knee replacement or other treatment. I really felt like I was listened to and cared for in a way that my other doctor seems to never have the time for. I now have a… great plan forward to tackle my gait issues and to be pain-free in the coming year.

Don't get fooled. She takes advantage. Money machine. Most importantly, terrible advice.

Very friendly doctor. Spends as much time as needed to answer all your questions and follows up with you to make sure you're doing OK. I feel comfortable recommending Dr. Swedan all my friends should they need someone with her expertise.
