Dr. Nalini Singh, MD

Nalini Singh is worst doctor I have ever seen. Her staff is always on edge and I contribute that to her mood swings. I started seeing her after my primary doctor retired. I suffer from severe migraines and was on a medicine that was not conventional but it worked for me. After more than 3 years of prescribing this medicine she refused to give it to me. This was done without giving me an explanation or a better medicine. The medicine I was on was not addictive, it is not expense and it has been the only one that has worked for me. Plus I was seeing her every 3 months if there had a problem it could have been handled quickly. At my last check up my AC1 was higher than it has been . I am assuming that she took the migraine medicine away as a means of punishing me for having a higher AC1. Being diabetic she refused me a weight losts program that she offered and I was more than willing to pay out of pocket for. But she prescribed Actos which is in the news for causing kidney failure. I… refused to take the Actos and that is why my AC1 was higher. She also gave me a medicine that was used to treat infertile young women trying to have children for hot flashes. I am soon to be 57 year and I refused to take it as well. In the beginning Dr. Singh came across as knowledgeable and concerned but she proved to be a cold, cruel, moody person that will use her position to punish you. What is really sad and scary is that the majority of her patients are low income elderly African Americans. Her only question to me was if I drank sugary drinks. Not all diabetics drink soda and fruit punch. A physician shall be dedicated to providing competent medical care, with compassion and respect for human dignity. This doctor didn't do this for me it gave her great pleasure to say no even when she knew I would suffer greatly.

Dr Singh is a wonderful doctor. She was kind and compassionate and the first doctor who took the time to listen to my concerns. I have been seeing her for about six months now and she is the first doctor to get my diabetes under control. I love her!
