Dr. Namita Kothari, MD

I liked that Dr. Kothari scoped out my personal situation since I'm a new patient. I like the way she handled our conversation and the next steps to find out what wrong.

I love Dr. Kothari. She is friendly, compassionate, forthright, and to the point. Having seen dozens of doctors over the years, I really like her no-nonsense, smart, science-based approach. Dr. Kothari is extremely professional and has been my gyno and also my surgeon for a hysterectomy. Although I went to other gyno doctors recently (I relocated last year), she is the first doctor to notice I had large tumors in my abdomen **by touch**. She had me go through a series of ultrasound tests to confirm the diagnosis, then we set up a hysterectomy surgery. I felt so comfortable and confident with her every step of the way and would highly recommend her. Dr. Kothari listens very carefully to my concerns, answered all my questions, and gave me complete instructions before, during, and after the procedure. If you would like a doctor that truly cares, I suggest you set up an appointment with her.

I wouldn't give any star if I could. Dr. Kothari has very poor medical knowledge, not up-to-date with current medical guidelines. She does not know about medication pregnancy category A through D. It seems like she neglects patient privacy act many times. Her office doesn't update medical information on patient portal. She prescribed wrong medication that could have ended my pregnancy, but I am a medical professional and knew about that medication and I didn't take it.
