Dr. Nancy Patricia Dalos, MD

Dr Dalos is one of the best doctors I've seen. Yes, there is usually a longer wait here than at a typical primary care facility. It's because she actually takes time to listen to her patients and get an accurate diagnosis. She also has a lot of elderly patients who are admitted to the hospital for other conditions (heart, renal, cancer) that require consults at all time of day. I've appreciated the time she's spent trying to help me with a difficult condition. I have had some issues with the attitudes and professionalism of the front desk staff. It seems to have improved some in the past couple of years. Any issues I have witht he office are more related to St Anthony's management than her skill as a physician.

Every time I see this name I cringe. Came to her in severe pain. She scheduled my follow up appointments weeks - months apart without providing me with any comfort or information to why I was hurting. Did not refer me to any other provider including a psychiatrist if she thought I was mental. Never did anything herself when I did see someone. She did NOTHING but charge me. Six to seven months later I healed on my own. I went to two appts to see her and one to another provider in her office for testing. After no relief of my pain that was only in my arm which was very sensitive to even a bed sheet I never went back again. This survey ask to many questions about her personality not enough about rather she actually helped a patient.

Dr Dalos seemed to be a nice woman when I finally met her, but after the first when she kept me waiting over 2 hours, I was dissatisfied. On the next visit I walked out after 45 minutes past the appointment, and scheduled another as her first appointment of the day. She sauntered in about 35 minutes after my appointment time, and I sat in the room listening to her chatting away with her nurses about billing issues and such. I explained in great detail to her staff that I have employment and needed a doctor who wasn't overbooked and would see me in a timely manner barring emergencies. I left 50 minutes later and called my insurance company and changed the referal from the parkign lot.

Thank you Dr. Dalos. I appreciated the time you spent with me, my mother and my father today. It's obvious you care about your patients and it's so nice to see these days. Thank you for being a good dr, but also for caring!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dalos for some time now and she is caring and a very competent neurologist. She actually listens to what you have to say. I come from the medical field and have seen hundreds (in a working environment) of incompetent physicians. She is quiet but that is done to allow you the time to speak so she can listen to everything you say. Most physicians want to do all the talking and forget to listen to what the patient has to say. I without a doubt would recommend her to anyone and have done so repeatedly. The only thing that I am not fond of is the practices of the ownership of the practice (they are hospital owned) and their attitude, but Dr. Dalos has no control over them. Additionally, I have had opportunity to see Dr. Weiss and Dr. Kennedy and they are both awesome also.
