Dr. Nancy Lr Layton, MD

Was like a production line. Got total of four shots of which none lasted more an hour. Offered no oral medication. Just there for the money. Her office withered away to nothing. Would've never recommend her

My experience was some time ago. She was the first place I went to after moving to Florida. Around 2011 I went To office in Melbourne and was seen by a young woman that I later found she was not certified as an MD at the point of seeing her. Got my shot at clinic in downtown Melbourne it looked like an factory line with at least 15 older people. I was given a shot that knocked me out . Twice she hit the wrong spot and I cried out. . When I woke up the nurse was not friendly same as when I arrived. Someone introduced themselves as Dr. Layton just before putting me out . At 8pm that evening while brushing my teeth I urinated all over myself. I called and told them how I felt and never went back. I did not ask for nor was I on drugs so they can't use that as an excuse. I only posted this because I am going to a new DR in NC and looked up her address and read the comments and her answer to all negative posts with an answer discrediting them. Arrogant is a good word for this place.

I have been seen by Dr Layton for the past 11 yrs. She has always been there ans assist me with any medical issues I may have and offers suggestions to correct all area causing pain. The only area I feel upset by is her leaving the practice. Although staff advised me months ago I would have liked to have said good bye or heard from Layton. I understand I'm just a patient but seemed like everything was going good with her business and had nothing to worry about being she was building her business. I'm hoping the new company has the same methods she did but only time will tell. I was told everything is great by older staff but worried as most quit last minute. I think of Layton's staff as friends and hated to hear they all left. I'm hoping this is not a sign of issues in my direction. It's hard dealing with the pain daily but Layton was always there to assist and did her best to make sure my quality of life was upbeat. Just a little worried seeing everyone leave and not knowing what's to… come. Been through a lot through the years and Layton finally was able to relieve the pain others could not. Hope to not go backwards now she is gone. Pain medicine/management works. Saddened she didn't come to see me before leaving. All I ask for is the same treatment. A good quality of life to spend with my son which she has done. Just very worried of the new practice in there methods.

I am patient of Dr. Layton for going on 1 year. Dr. P Keller referred me to her and assured me she could help. Dr. Layton diagnosed my problem correctly, did an injection, and I was good as new. I have seen her since then as I age for pain problems. She always takes time with me to explain the next procedure if there is one. Her office staff seem very caring and conscientious of the patientâ??s needs. Wish I knew of her 3+ years ago when this started. They are GREAT! Just found out she will retire soon-Congratulations! You will be missed.

This doctor is not interested in your pain. She would let you suffer than give you meds that you have been on for years. Wouldn't recommend this doctor for real chronic pain.

I saw Dr. Layton a long time ago (about 2000). I had such discomfort that I could not get out of bed. An orthopedist gave me a medrol pack, so I could walk. I saw Dr Layton 3 times for injections. The 1st did not work as she said. The 2nd and 3rd worked. I have not had a recurrence. My primary care Dr. said she was a very good doctor when he read her notes. I think he was right. Maybe I got a miracle. I hope you do to.

Dr. Layton told me my pain was all due to anxiety and withdrew my pain medications, even though my orthopedic surgeon felt the alternative was surgery , and the diagnosis was confirmed by another physician. She did not offer me any alternative treatment suggestions ((except to get my anxiety under control). My psychiatrist indicated I needed pain management.

Don't waste your time and money for a complete horse's as- never in my life have I been treated like I wasn't worth there time I hope karma gets them I am so fit to be tied run forest run

Dr. Layton takes time to teach, answer questions, and treat chronic pain with multiple modalities which include epidural injections, nerve blocks, tri ...

I have been seeing Dr Layton for a few years now and can say without reservation that she has changed my life. Where before I was beset with back pain so severe I would trip and fall, I am now not only able to function as a normal person, my chronic headaches or 30 years have all but vanished...all from her considerable knowledge and care. If you want someone on your side, that will fight for you; this is your Doctor. She will not sugar coat her diagnosis or treatments, but she will be there for you and do all that is possible to help you gain your life back.
