Dr. Nancy Tribley Livingston, MD

I first saw Dr. Livingston as a child and had an incredible distrust of psychiatrist and other mental health care professionals. Dr. Livingston's compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and seemingly unending patience are simply unbeatable. When no one else could get me to open up she found a way to reach me. She is the most professional yet personal psychiatrist I can imagine. She often goes above and beyond what I would consider the norm expected in a mental health care provider. I was once a skeptic of paying someone "to listen to me." Dr. Livingston has shown me what it feels like to not feel that way. Instead I feel I am helping keep a community service running by helping Dr. Livingston stay in business. I truly do not know who I would've turned to many times in my life if not for her. Dr. Livingston cares about her patients, truly. I cannot imagine selecting a different psychiatrist to see.

I started seeing this physician as a child and was very distrustful. Her incredible care of me has led me to continue with this physician and never seek another. She's is kind, compassionate, understanding, professional, patient, available, and takes time to go above and beyond the usual call of duty that physician of any field answer. I only wish I could afford to pay more for her time. She is a mental health care professional that makes you realize she would like to help you whether or not you pay her but also needs to live. You don't get the feeling you're "paying to be heard," you get the feeling that you're helping her be available in the community as a doctor. I would never choose to change psychiatrists. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Livingston as my psychiatrist. The help she provides is real.
