Dr. Nancy Delamora Love, MD

After 10 years, I’ve realized she isn’t consistent in her treatment. Sometimes she’s super nice but most recently she’s been hostile to my needs, to the point that she refused to give me a prescription to monitor a condition I have. Her reason - your insurance company won’t cover it. Yet when I told her I had a previous prescription from another physician, her response was “I don’t know how that doctor got it for you,” as if there was some back end deal. She’s not one who validated that I needed anything. Great with blood work, but always ready to say all is normal. Don’t recommend her unless you only want someone to diagnose. She runs hot and cold as a medical practitioner.

I am so fortunate I found doctor love. She takes the time to listen evaluate And has a plan for whatever you may need. Doctor Love has always taken the time to follow up if I haven't felt good she or her office calls me to check to make sure everything is OK. I would definitely recommend doctor love.

Kind, compassionate and willing to go the extra mile for you

I've been with Dr Love for almost two years and I find her to be an outstanding doctor who is also very compassionate and a good listener. She's created realistic goals for me, I just became a senior, and encourages me when I make progress toward these goals. I have met with various primary docs and she's at the top of my list! I'm sorry to read that anyone has had negative experiences with Dr. Love. She has always been caring and compassionate with me & listened carefully to understand my concerns. Perhaps there have been occasions when she has been extremely pressed for time, but I've not felt rushed or treated inconsiderately.

She is as downright t rude am now in the process of changing physicians not pleasant at all

Dr. Love listens to me and give me good advice. She truly cars about the people she care for.

She essentially told me that the very real chronic pain I've been experiencing was "all in my head". Even after I explained that chronic pain and autoimmune diseases run in my family. Eventually she made pointless referrals to specialists and ran some tests. When I attended these appoints the specialists were confused as to why I was even there and Dr. Love never gave me the test results. I felt that Nancy Love was trying to see as many patients as possible. I suffer from anxiety and so it is very hard for me to seek medical care. She doesn't treat anxiety or any other mental health issue with consideration or thoughtfulness and she struggles with symptoms that are complicated or take more than 10 minutes to diagnose. (However, the staff at Hoag is always incredibly courteous and kind)
