Dr. Nancy Melinda Young

This physician should not be working with children. She has the worst bedside manners I've ever encountered in a physician. She does not know how to interact with children and family in a respectful manner but instead talks down on you and your child the entire time. She is rude, incompetent, lacks empathy and violates HIPPA as she discusses your child's impairments in front of others and loudly in an obnoxious manner. She also is not clear in her recommendations and is completely unethical.

Dr. Young is great!! Highly recommend. She knows what she’s doing and very nice woman.

Terrible bedside manner. Spoke over us many times, dismissive of our concerns, did not provide information about diagnosis, walked out of room at the end of visit without providing guidance for follow-up or recommendations.

Dr Young is the best doctor for cochlear implants. She may not have the best bedside manner BUT she is EXCELLENT in what she does. I would recommend Dr Young due to the fact that even in an emergency during surgery she is calm and is ready for any challenge. She has changed my sons life forever and I will always be indebted to her

After waiting most of the morning for the audiology exam and subsequent consultation with Dr. Young, my overall impression was that she really didn't seem interested in hearing my impressions about my son's mild hearing loss, when I think it began or what impact I feel it has on him. Instead, Dr. Young was rather dismissive and disinterested in anything I had to offer and we sat in silence for most of the appointment while she typed information into the computer. The experience was so uninformative and disappointing that I won't return, but will instead will follow up with a different ENT.
