Natalia Rincon Buendia, MD

Natalia P. Rincon, M.D., is a neurologist at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute who specializes in the treatment of epilepsy. Her clinical interests and expertise include the use of neuromodulation for the management of pharmacoresistant epilepsy and women's issues in epilepsy, such as catamenial epilepsy and epilepsy during pregnancy. Dr. Rincon earned her medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville after earning a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree at the University of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She served as chief resident during a neurology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her post-doctoral training also includes a neurophysiology and epilepsy fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. Dr. Rincon is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology and the …American Epilepsy Society. She has published her research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers at professional symposiums. The patient-physician relationship is important to Dr. Rincon.
