I am currently seeing Dr. Blache for my pregnancy. We were newer to the Knoxville area and we wanted a Dr. from the UT Women's Specialty Care. She has always had my best interests in mind and has explained everything to me clearly. I can somewhat understand where people may see her as having bad bedside manners but in reality she just doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to what has to be done. She will NOT baby you. However, this doesn't mean she is rude or negative in any way.I don't need/want a Dr. who is just going to tell me what I want to hear. I am always very well informed about what my future visits are going to entail and what to expect throughout my pregnancy. I have Gestational Diabetes and she has monitored it closely throughout my pregnancy. I will always recommend her and continue to see her. Her staff is also great. I am usually helped by her Nurse, Megan, who is reliable and extremely nice. Also, their financial adviser who helps with taking care of payments… and your insurance has been helpful from day 1. From the moment I walk into any of her three locations to the moment I leave, I am extremely pleased with her entire staff.

I don't know where the negative reviews are coming from, but I highly recommend Dr. Blache. She performed my hysterectomy and was an excellent surgeon and caregiver from start to finish. She is very "down to earth" and easy to talk to. She addressed all my questions and concerns. Her office staff was pleasant. I give her a rating of excellent.

Don't waste your time with this Dr. When I had my annual check up she seemed very disengaged and uninterested in any questions I asked her. I detailed in my forms an issue I wanted to talk about and she never addressed it and I felt so uncomfortable about the way she answered my other questions that I didn't bother to even bring it up. Her staff isn't much better... I recently found out my birth control pill is being discontinued. I called the office and told them I'd like to talk about other birth control options. The nurse didn't listen to anything I said. Instead she wrote me a new prescription for another birth control pill just like the one I said I didn't want anymore... Don't waste you time with this rude office. They don't listen to anything the patient says and they aren't interested in working with you and answering your questions.

I normally don't write reviews but she is awful! She always kept us waiting - waited between 30 mins-1.5 hours for appointments- and NEVER remembered our last appointment (or what she prescribed and WHY). I'm sure if she saw me or my husband on the street, she wouldn't even recognize us - even though we've seen her for the past 6-7 months. She constantly refreshed her memory of our file in front of us (never before). I don't want a doctor who just shows up to the birth and says "oh, I remember you". Maybe she's just overworked, too many patients, isn't fulfilled by her profession - you pick a reason - BUT stop taking patients if you cannot properly care for them (and in a timely manner).

She is very rude and arrogant. She rolls her eyes when you ask a question. I do not recommend her.

I had to wait over 45 minutes to get in to my appointment, then I had to wait again in the exam room another 40 minutes, then she came in with a medical student, which was ok but for what I was charged, I should have had some privacy. I might as well have gone to a clinic. Also I was asked if I had any questions and I had one, and then I was charged another fee for that one question. I think they should be honest and let the patient know that the question is not part of the exam coverage. I will never go back to this doctor's office. Beware of this doctor, unless you have really the best insurance that covers everything, you should find an honest doctor.

I had seen Dr Blache before, and by all means she was excellent then. Now over a year later EVERYTHING has changed! She spent a significantly less time with me and my problem. I required surgery, Dr Blache had apprently not remembered my history nor did she read my chart as I had to remind her I was a coumadin PT. Post op 12 days I was released for full duty and still complained of debilitating lower back pain. I have suffered severe pain n my back, and radiating pain n my left leg post op. ( no symtpoms prior). No hormone tests were preformed even though I requested it as I have never had symptomatic cysts before, I am experiencing severe hair loss now as well as wild mood swings. I am way too young for menopaus. I am having to find a new physician to care for my hormone changes. My FMLA paperwork was filled out INCORRECTLY! The woman who does the paperwork refused to fix, rolled her eyes at me and refused to even listen to even the kindest reasoning. The same woman… filled out AFLAC paperwork incorrectly as well. I fixed it with a significant amount of leg work (I was post op) and the discrepancy was over $1200. It is this particular womans only job to fill out paperwork. She was called "the paperwork lady" by more then one physician and staff member. I am a medical professional and have been for 13 years. I have never had problems like I have had with this or any office. I gave it my all, these things occured over 4 months, a surgery and 5 visits. I will never set foot in this office again!
