I just had a partial hysterectomy with Dr. Semenyuk and she did a tremendous job. I have healed quickly and easily with minimal scars. She is open, smart and thorough. I found her manner professional and courteous, not only with me but with my family as well. I recommend her highly!

Dr. Semenyuk has been my doctor for about 20 years now and she delivered both of my babies. I love her and she's always been professional and caring. After having a C-section, many nurses and doctors that I saw knew she was my doctor by the small scar that I have remaining. She's amazing.

Dr. Semenyuk has been my gynecologist for as along as I can remember, and she's the only gynecologist that I ever want to see. She is deeply caring, very smart and has the memory of an elephant. She helped me get through a very hard time in my life years ago (both physically and mentally), and I will be forever grateful to her for being my doctor through it. I can't relate to any of the negative comments/reviews people have left, as I've never had a gynecologist that I am so pleased with and feel so comfortable with. Myself, my mother and my sister in law all go to her (I had recommended Dr. Semenyuk to them and they love her). My advice for anyone questioning her ability is to give her a chance, because you will love her.

Dr. Semenyuk treated me after I came to her with a significant issue that required the extraction of an IUD- I was 17 at the time. Originally, we had planned to replace the IUD with a new one, but as I was a minor at the time, my mother decided against the replacement due to the huge complications with the first one. Dr. Semenyuk became livid on the day of the operation and pulled the IUD out of my cervix, running out into the hallway to shove it in my mother’s face screaming “are you happy now?” Because of the way she extracted the IUD, I now have a scar on my cervix that is so incredibly deep and misshapen that my now-gynecologist is shocked at the sight of it. Not to mention the effect this event had on my psyche and the sadness I feel that even when reported to the university, Semenyuk merely received a slap on the wrist. Now I read several bad reviews on her misbehavior and wonder what it will take to remove her and her malpractice. No one should ever have to feel they’ve been… taken advantage of or wronged by a doctor, I hope this issue will one day be fixed.

I would NOT recommend her. She was very unfriendly and did not care about my health issue, nor took anytime to understand it. I saw her for less than 5 minutes, and she wasn't friendly to the nurse either. She made light of my problem and made the exam very uncomfortable.

Dr. Semenyuk is the most professional, knowledgeable, experienced, responsible , educated and caring doctor that I ever met.

Dr. Semenyuk is straight-forward and direct, yet manages to still convey concern and caring without being sappy or gushy. I like her self-assuredness without seeming cocky or aloof. She is the type of Dr. I've been looking for.
