Dr. Natalie K Stevens, MD

Was deliberately misled into a massive bill that I could not afford. I told her what she was asking probably wasn’t going to be covered by my insurance, so I didn’t want to consent to it. But she lied to my face multiple times and gave me assurances, just to make a buck off of someone who doesn’t even have a lot of money in the first place and was just trying to seek medical care. I feel betrayed and humiliated by the way I was treated by her staff during this process.

Cold. rushes through appointments. Zero empathy. Do not recommend. Frequently says conflicting things.

Extremely cold, curt, alarmist in the most passive aggressive way. Did not calm fears or concerns in fact exhabasterybtes them ... very big tester and does not put patients anxiety at eases in fact leaves them feeling worse. Doctors should be smart confident reassuring and put patients at ease no matter the circumstance!!

I brought my daughter to Dr Stevens. She missed diagnosed something causing great emotional stress. She was rushed and very cold. Her office staff rushed my daughter out of the office when she was crying stating that "they need the room". Very rude and truly incompetent. Do not go to this doctor! She needs to look in the mirror. She seems to have forgotten how to care for patients.

I had a good experience until there was some issues regarding genetic testing with my baby. It was an emotional time for me and when I reached out to discuss the results in further detail with Dr. Stevens it was difficult to get her on the phone and when she did reach out I felt she was extremely empathetic, rushed and cold. I understand a practice can be busy but it would have meant a lot if she hadn't been so curt on the phone.

Waited over an hour, which makes no sense because she rushed in and out of my appointment in under 5 minutes. Does not care about her patients, rude staff and dirty office

Dr. Stevens is a wonderful doctor n I would recommend her to anyone.

I had a very high risk pregnancy, and Dr. Stevens made me feel very confident that I was getting the highest level of care. Her bedside manner was very calming. I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a top notch doctor.

Very calming, excellent bedside manner, and comprehensive care. Her office is warm and pleasant, staff is very organized, and overall was made to feel at ease. I would highly recommend her care.

Dr. Stevens was my doctor for years. I had come to expect great bedside manner where I'd feel comfortable to talk to her about anything. I never felt rushed. I never felt like just another patient. After just a few days, she would actually be the one to call me to communicate annual test results. So naturally I was excited to share in my first pregnancy with her. I knew she was the perfect doctor for me. Unfortunately, she moved her office and her private practice grew. I started to feel like I was just a numbered patient. No longer would I expect a call from her... let alone a call from any of her staff - even if I was told that I would hear back from someone. She does not use email to communicate with patients, and several messages of mine were not communicated to her. She blamed me and never her staff. Being my first pregnancy, I was naturally terrified and had lots of questions, but I was completely aware of the fact that she was a one woman show and sometimes her mind… was elsewhere. But the issues started developing when I felt that seeing Dr. Stevens made me more upset. She spent, on average, 5-7 minutes with me during each visit. She felt that she was able to communicate effectively with me, but when I said I was really confused and upset - she changed her tone with me and invited me to feel bad about needing more time/attention. The additional time/attention was due to the fact that upon each visit I was diagnosed something else that made me a high risk patient, and I felt I was left questioning why. I finally had to take a 1/2 hr. with her to have her thoroughly explain what everything meant to me and my baby, becasue I found myself going online to look up information - which is something we had discussed I didn't want to do. Proper growth ultrasounds were not performed in her office - you will need to go elsewhere, which is totally fine - but she wouldn't review these important tests prior to walking into my exam room. I HAD to be my own health advocate. I HAD to pay attention and recite results to her as she did not know them. There is NO communication between her and the specialists she sent me to. At 30 weeks, and nearly 6 years as her patient I felt I had no other choice but to leave her and hopefully find another doctor who would be able to provide me with the care a "high risk pregnancy" requires. I cared for Dr. Stevens dearly and she broke my heart. I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and I'm still terriby upset by the events that occured between us. I have never had an issue with any other doctors in my 36 years on this earth. In fact, I still travel to my hometown 8 hrs away to see the dentist I have been with since having teeth. I would caution another pregnant women with my story before selecting Dr. Stevens - as this is this most significant time in your life. You do not want to end up like me, 30 weeks pregnant without proper prenatal care. Maybe as her practice grows and she brings on additional doctors this bumpy road will get better - but I've decided not to stick around to see.
