Dr. Natasha Harvey, MD

If I could give zero stars, I would. This practice is extremely poorly run. Nearly every interaction I’ve had, whether with the front desk, medical assistants, or nursing staff, has been unprofessional & frustrating. I was repeatedly given conflicting information, & when I pushed back by referencing what another staff member had told me, I was treated as if I were lying & met with defensiveness & rudeness. I am transferring care due to serious concerns with both the providers & overall management. I was seen very frequently throughout my pregnancy due to being high risk, so these experiences were NOT isolated. During my prenatal care, I saw Papa Win DelaCruz multiple times. Despite my frequent visits, she often forgot who I was & the details of my case, rushed through every appointment, & provided little opportunity for questions or meaningful discussion. Post c-section, I was seen by Natasha Harvey. My delivery was an emergency at five weeks early, & my baby was in the NICU. I gave… birth the week of Thanksgiving, & during this extremely vulnerable time, Natasha was cold, rude, rushed, told me she could not refill a prescription I needed, & was quick to leave my bedside. At a follow-up visit, Cecelia Chui rushed me out of her office because I was her last appointment of the day, making it clear my concerns were an inconvenience. Attempting to transfer my medical records only reinforced my decision to leave. In late December '25, I was instructed to submit a records release through the patient portal & was told I would receive confirmation within three hours. That never happened. I called the medical records department, left a message with them as well. Three days later, I received a call from Elizabeth, calling on behalf of the practice manager, to ask why I was transferring care. I explained my concerns & told her my new OBGYN still had not received my records. Elizabeth assured me she would take care of it ASAP & told me to call her back if I needed anything. Another three days passed with no progress. When I called again, I spoke with Odessa & another staff member who raised their voices & told me it takes 31 business days to transfer records. directly contradicting what I had previously been told. When I asked to speak with Elizabeth, I was told no, despite being instructed by Elizabeth herself to ask for her if I called back. This office demonstrates a complete lack of organization, accountability, empathy, & respect for patients... especially those navigating high-risk pregnancies and postpartum recovery! Management needs serious improvement. This is not what healthcare should be. Steer clear!!!

Dr. Harvey was assigned to discharge me 3 days after my c section 6 weeks ago. I’m on a med for a mental health disorder, which was adjusted while I was admitted. Upon discharge, she coldly refused to send my RX in at the new amount, which would leave me taking the wrong dosage at home. Her defense was that she “wouldn’t want a psychiatrist to deliver a baby, & I don’t want to prescribe mental health medication”. Mind you, this is a crucial med to help me against developing PPD. The nurse who discharged me had to find another OBGYN dr to send my adjusted RX in for me. Fast forward to this week… I had my 6 week follow up appt. with another OBGYN in her practice. That dr sent me an automated message that I have an infection & to start taking an antibiotic. I called the office to get more info, but the office was closed & I was transferred to the on call dr. Guess who! Dr. Harvey. She was incredibly rude, acted as if it was a burden to talk to me, and told me she has no info for me.

When I made the appointment, no one could tell me how much my visit would cost a cash payer, neither right before the visit ( even I asked a few times). So I ended up with a huge bill, but that's not all. After a couple of weeks, I received an additional bill from the lab ( Pap smear and fluid), for which no one told me the charge in advance. I was an established patient.

I scheduled an appointment with her weeks in advance. The day of the appointment, less than 2 hours before I'm scheduled to come in, her team calls to cancel because they preferred me to email my medical records instead of bringing in hardcopies, which no one informed me about in the weeks leading up to my appointment. I will never try to work with this doctor again and I suggest no one else does either.

Dr. Harvey genuinely cares about the well being of her patients. She is not a doctor that has her hand on the door and ready to run when you ask a question. I was extremely happy with my experience. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She is very patient and kind! Her bedside manner is wonderful. Great dr and great experience!

Awful. She tried to bully me into a c-section, which was 100% unnecessary. After I delivered my son, she called my hospital room to congratulate me and said “I just really didn’t think you could do it.” WHO SAYS THAT TO THEIR PATIENT?!?!? Absolutely awful. I switched practices after that, thank GOD.

If I could give his doctor a zero I would. She is BEYOND unproffesional and the rudest most ARROGANT doctor I have ever met. She makes you wait for ever in the room and when she walks in she laughs at what you are saying and makes you feel like you’re completely stupid. I am a registered nurse and I work in a hospital in downtown Chicago so I know how important it is to be respectful and understanding with your patients. I wish AMITA knew how unproffesional she is and maybe they can fire her for her poor care. Please dont waste your time with this so called doctor. You can tell she only works for the money and doesnt care for her patients at all. And if you see the comments from other people the say the same thing about her.

She is one of the best doctors of AMITA group. I love the way she treats her patients. She supported me a lot during my labor. Thanks to her for making my pregnancy a successful one.

When I moved to the area last year I was in search for a new doctor, after my first visit I was immediately pleased with Dr. Harvey. Over the course of the past year, I can say I am still very happy with the care Dr. Harvey provides me. She is always very informative and answers all of my questions, she even follows up with a personal phone call when needed. She truly cares about her patients.

Very rude doctor. Doesn't know how to respect her patient.
