Dr. Nathalie Mckenzie, MD

Dr. McKenzie performed a routine laparoscopy on me which left me with a huge disfiguring lump over my belly button. I noticed it immediately after the surgery. When I showed it to her at my post op follow up, she barely glanced at it. She assured me it looked normal, and she did not even perform an exam. After three months, I went to a plastic surgeon thinking that this was a cosmetic problem. Upon examining me, he said that I had a herniated umbilicus, and that I had better get it repaired quickly. I went to a general surgeon who repaired it using a mesh. Not only did I have to undergo a second surgery, but Dr. McKenzie did not want to acknowledge responsibility. Hernia repair is not part of her business.

I have never met a doctor in any speciality as professional, kind, and compassionate as Dr. McKenzie. Her resume speaks for itself. Her surgical skills involved a large mass removal and complete hysterectomy of my family member. She could have gone home the very same day. This lady is wonderful. I would trust her with my life. She also took the time to meet personally with family in surgical waiting area when most that day just talked to family on the phone. She is super. I’m so happy that she is at Advent in Orlando.

She doesnt listen at all. Told her my pain and my issues and it went through one ear and out the other. Received no help but she sure got her $$$ from me ...

Dr. McKenzie has saved my life and continues to provide excellent treatment. She is compassionate, highly intelligent and a specialist in her field. She is always looking ahead to plan and be one step ahead of my ovarian cancer. I wish every Dr. was as compassionate about their patients as she is. I trust her with my life and she has been a God send. I can't thank her enough for taking such extreme care of me as well as my family. She is beyond the rating of 5 stars.
