Dr. Nathan William Greene, MD

A couple of years ago, I had become essentially housebound. My knee pain was so extreme I had stopped driving, shopping, cooking, entertaining, visiting friends and taking vacations. Told for several years that I had "a little arthritis", and encouraged to exercise more, I blamed myself. For another two years I struggled walking from my car to a gym locker room. Using first a cane and then a walker, I had pretty much lost hope that I would get to experience those mythical "grand" years. You know the ones depicted in ads with elders smiling through sparkling white dentures and romantic tropical sunsets in the background, starring two relatively wrinkled but fit and trim old people who hug and gaze at each other lovingly. The the Universe (God, the Creator, Great Spirit) inspired a doctor friend to refer me to Dr. Nathan Green. Dr. Green confirmed there was no cartilage in either knee, which explained the reason I was in such excruciating pain. He educated me on the options for pain… control and the pluses and cons of surgery, but he never pushed me to do either. I made the choice to replace both knees, which he did 90 days apart. It was the absolute best decision I've made with regard to my quality of life. n fact, I've been enjoying life to an immense degree since I finished my P.T. Saturday our oldest granddaughter got married, and family and friends flew in from all over the world. I didn't need a cane or a walker or to use any special path to enter the church or the reception venue. I won't be sitting in any Lotus positions again, but Saturday was the first time since my operations, when I was confident enough to dance with my children and all six of my grandchildren!

Dr Greene and his team replaced my right hip on the 28th. I was pain free and able to walk easily the same day. It's been just over a week now and I am very pleased with his work an professionalism. Thank you Dr Greene

Our experience with Dr. Greene was excellent. Appointments were very informative and his assistants who handle some pre and follow up were good as well. We always felt we had all the information that was important to us and the well being of our Mom. At 81 she is enjoying life again after double hip replacement surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Greene and his associates.

I was in great pain prior to surgery. My work schedule dictated early treatment if possible. The staff tracked Dr. Greenes' schedule and got me in early on a cancellation. The surgery went very well, and post op has been successful. My only objection is that I wish I'd been referred to PT for rebuild of muscle that had atrophied prior to surgery. I had to do that therapy a year later and should have done it right after surgery. Otherwise, Dr. Greene and the Kaiser staff were super!

Dr Green did my surgery He never showed me x-rays or explained my treatment. He never visited me post-op and his partner knew nothing and acted stupid.
