Dr. Nathan E Pierce, MD

I had been dealing with a couple of unresolved issues when I was referred to Dr. Nathan Pierce and I am so grateful to have had him as my Dr. Her went above and beyond to try to find the root cause of my issues and really took the time to explain all the options and possible outcomes to me. Great doctor! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a doctor that listens and cares.

If you want to see a kind and compassionate doctor who looks at you like they are on your side then DO NOT see this man. This man is a robot. His has awful bedside manner. Unfriendly, rude, pompous. Gives off a really bad vibe that I’ve never experienced with any other heath professional. Completely unresponsive. Had me wondering if he hates his job. Or maybe had just had enough of listening to people tell them how much pain or suffering they’re in.

It's unfortunate I have to leave this review because Dr. Pierce is a very nice guy and I like him as a person, but I would urge anyone not to get surgery with him. In May 2018, I had a canaloplasty with him to remove exostosis caused by surfer's ear. During the surgery he ruptured my ear drum and I now have severe tinnitus. The perforation and tinnitus is still there (8 months later) and I cannot submerge my head in water, meaning no swimming, surfing and I have to wear a plastic cap while showering. The tinnitus makes it nearly impossible to sleep and causes stress + anxiety. When I first met with Dr. Pierce prior to my surgery, I thought to myself "this guy is very young, and probably inexperienced, do I trust him performing surgery in my head?" My guy feeling was "no" but I went ahead with the surgery anyway. I WISH I would have listened to my guy feeling, because now my life is ruined, I cannot swim, surf or sleep.
