My appointment with Dr Jay Wright went well but the follow up treatment has been a nightmare! I cannot get his nurse to return phone calls and the receptionist don't answer the phone most of the time when I call. I have needed a referral sent to a Specialist and I have been waiting 2 weeks to get it faxed so I can get an appointment.

Dr. Wright is such a great doctor. I’ve been going to him for years. He’s caring, compassionate and is always attentive to my medical needs. His staff is wonderful as well. They are all so sweet and great at what they do.

He review your file with you, listens to you, not just a number to him. He really cares. Knowing my family history, he had!correctly diagnosed my cancer in very early stage, found I was prediabetic early stages, listens to what your!body is telling you , very Caring. Friendly staff. If I have a question, he listens and let's me know what he is going to do and what to expect.

APTMT WAS 2;45, I WAITED OVER AN HR, NOT ACCEPTABLE, IF THEY R OVERBOOKING, SHAME ON THEM, I KNEW DR CARNEY FOR YRS, AND HE WOULD NEVER TREAT PATIENTS THAT WAY. IF DR IS RUNNING 'LATE' THEY NEED TO NOTIFY PATIENTS, AND LET THEM CHOOSE TO RESCHEDULE. I'D RATHER 2 HRS AND ONLY WAIT 15 MINS. TO SEE DR. VS. DRIVING ONE HR TO TXK. AND WAITING 2 HRS. HOPE COLLUM & CARNEY GET THIS MESSAGE.

Excellent doctor and staff!!!

Dr. Wright is the worst doctor I have visited in as far back as I can remember! The wait has always been at least an hour but usually closer to 2 hours. His office staff and nurses are rude and totally inept at their job! There is always tension in the air. Dr Wright needs to update his procedures, more specific his patient record keeping to a computer system. More than once they have messed up my medications. They do not keep their patient records updated properly or simply do not reference them. My advice to anyone looking for a good and caring doctor.........skip the "W's". I actually feared for my health (life) while giving this doctor a chance to be my doctor!! Thanks for reading this warning and review.

Dr. Wright has been our primary care physician for 15 years. The staff are very helpful and courteous. He is a very caring fellow. He is an excellent diagnostician. We pray he doesn't retire.

I would refer any and all of my family and friends to this doctor. He and all of his staff have went over and beyond expectations. Yes sometimes you may have a little wait, but on my first appointment Dr. Wright told me there may be long waits sometimes. Once he closes the door to the exam room his time and attention is all yours, you do not feel rushed at all. I have nothing but good things to say.

Dr. Wright does not know how to budget his time and makes his patients wait for hours.
