I can't speak highly enough of this doctor after practically being the first person in over a month to actually explain in detail, compassion, and clarity what was happening with my wife after what was supposed to be a simple out-patient procedure which then turned into a whole month of a nightmare dealing with another hospital and group of Doctors. After being highly recommended by a family friend, we sought her out for a second opinion and it was the best decision we ever made. Now my wife has a clear plan of care moving forward with a Dr. who actually listens and cares. Highly recommended without question.

Dr. Azikiwe made me feel at ease. So much so I drive 4 hours to have surgery! I recently had a umbilical hernia, and she knocked my surgery out of the park! I have a bellybutton again! I’m so happy with the results, and my overall experience with WakeMed! She was kind, compassionate, and informative. She listened to me, and made me instantly feel better. She made understand what was going on, and walked me step by step through what was going to happen. There’s no question in my mind- she’s the right choice! Thank you Dr. Azikiwe & WakeMed!

The most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met .

I went to Wake Med Emergency Room with abdominal pain. After an ultrasound was done gall stones was found. I was moved from the waiting room to the back for assistance in about 10 minutes which is excellent for Wake Med. I waited and waited and I'm so glad I did. When Dr. Azikiwe walked in my life changed. She was very profressional, confident, getting an appointment was simple, great bedside manners and she had a great sense of humor. Dr. Azikiwe advised me of what we could do and when and I took her advice. I never received my telephone call over the weekend from the hospital with instructions on what to do or where to come on Monday morning but when I contacted Dr. Azikiwe's office her staff was courteous and I recieved all the information I needed. Shortly after I was at Wake Med Pre-Op getting ready for surgery. She removed my gallbladder and told me exactly what to expect before anything began. Dr. Azikiwe is awesome. I would surely recommend her to any and everyone. If I ever… need surgery again she will be the person I ask for. Dr. Azikiwe gets 4 stars from me. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

Great bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and comforting during a traumatic time in our lives when vising Raleigh and our son was admitted to Wake Med thru trauma unit in ER. Give Dr. azikiwe four stars all around!

Dr. Azikiwe is truly a wonderful physician with a real clarity in discussing your medical condition with. We found her to be accessible, consistent, positive and very warm and caring. You are truly blessed if you follow her recommendations and suggestions.
