Dr. Ndubuisi Chukwuemeka Achufusi, MD

All those concerned about proper healthcare should avoid Doctor Achufusi like the plague. Based on good reviews, I chose Dr. Achufusi, who turned out to be a money grabbing, uncaring hack, and the worst doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing. The good reviews were misleading to say the least. I now look for the bad reviews first. They’re far easier to authenticate. You can uncover patterns and avoid ever gracing the office of a doctor who should have probably had his license yanked years ago. Most of the people giving Dr. Achufusi high marks are simply not paying attention to the minutiae. Either that or he’s super inconsistent in the care he provides. If the doctor IS capable of providing proper care, which version of him will you receive? Inconsistency has no place in healthcare!!! The devil is in the details and if you’re not making astute observations, the very health you’re trying to fix or uphold will be damaged under Dr. Achufusi’s care. His greed and incompetence… are truly off the charts. Dr. Achufusi is more concerned about the money he makes off of you than the care he provides. Here are SOME of my issues with Dr. Achufusi. I’d list all if Google didn’t limit the length of reviews. I received the results of my blood test via email. There were a number of areas highlighted in yellow that got my attention as they were rather serious. For example, my triglycerides were off the charts. An appointment was booked to discuss the results. I brought six years of physicals with me so the good doctor could make some astute observations and ask probing questions. He never asked any questions, nor did he speak to my physical results at all! That’s what the appointment was for!!! Dr. Achufusi skimmed very quickly through the physicals, but as I realized once I left his office, I’d done all the talking. I was letting him know what I planned to do moving forward with the results I’d received. He offered not a shred of sage advice. NOTHING!!!!! He was so easy to speak to that I never realized he was basically making conversation. Just because I have my own knowledge base and ideas about my health doesn’t mean I want zero advice. After all, I did pay to see a doctor. Admittedly, I’ve found serious fault with every doctor I’ve seen for many years because of their business model, inconsistency, incompetency, greed, and uncaring nature. However, Dr. Achufusi was the worst of the worst. I simply couldn’t believe he’d given me no advice at all. He never even touched on ANY of the areas he highlighted on my blood test results. I didn't even receive a pamphlet of any kind. This guy is a dangerous hack. He did a prostate exam and said he didn’t feel anything. I didn’t tell him I had hemorrhoids. He told me he felt nothing there and it was all fine. The hemorrhoid should have been easily detected. What if that hemorrhoid were a malignant tumor!!!!! Dr. Achufusi gave me no guidance and no path to wellness. I did my own research and created my own wellness path. I only hope his own doctor is as horrible as he is so there’s some poetic justice. Dr. Achufusi didn’t even respond to the heartfelt letter I sent him twice, because many of my points against him were indefensible. The last appointment was a waste of time AND money. I expected the doctor to go over my test results item by item. If that wasn't occurring, he could have sent some notes along with the results via email and saved me a costly trip. It was merely a money grab. If I wasn’t astute and proactive about my health, this hack could have shortened my life!!! Dr. Achufusi is utter garbage as both a doctor AND a human being. His company is called HealthFirst Medical Group LLC. A more appropriate name is Money First Health Second LLC. Steer clear of this man. Ask questions of your primary doctor. Pay attention and make observations. Don't disregard their advice, but don't put them on a pedestal either like they're unerring or altruistic Gods. Do your own research as well. Your health depends upon it.

Dr. Achufusi has been my PCP on and off 20 years. I cry when my insurance does not take him. I have had several different medical insurance for different reasons, such as Kaiser. He has always accommodated me as a patient when I was sick and needed to come to see him. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his office. His bedside manner is top notch. He always have a smile and a hand shake for you. Nothing but respect for him. May he live long to keep me living long. LOL

She reuses needle guards and gloves stay awayyyyyy!!!!!!
