After a new diagnosis of cancer, I was really shaken and not sure what to expect when meeting the surgeon. Dr. Bhayani's demeanor showed so much genuine concern for me and my health that he immediately put me at ease. It was a VERY long appt because I had so many questions, but he patiently answered all of them. Very knowledgeable and confident. So much so that he even offered to set me up with a 2nd opinion if I wanted, to make me feel the most comfortable. The surgery went great and I am CANCER-FREE. He took the time to care about me and care for me. What a great human being, physician, and surgeon. A real professional. I would let him operate on my kids, if they needed it.

My husband and I have been blessed with excellent health, so our world was completely turned upside down with his sudden diagnosis of colo-rectal cancer. The idea of chemo, radiation and surgery was terrifying and rather surreal, with so many unknowns to worry about. We also needed to be away from our home to get treatment, which added yet another stressful variable to our lives. In our very first appointment, Dr Bhayani’s confidence, knowledge and care put us at ease, and helped us to really believe that C was not the end! I know that Dr Bhayani is an extremely busy surgeon, but we never felt rushed in our appointments, he took the time to explain in detail the procedures and any possible complications. He not only asked if we had questions, but took the time to answer them completely. The surgery went very well, but there were other complications which turned the 3-5 day hospital stay into 30 days. We saw the doctor every morning, and on days when my husband was feeling a… bit discouraged, he was always much more confident after the Dr’s visit. Dr Bhayani’s intelligence, skill and confidence are only part of the package. The most important quality is that he actually CARES! He added hours to his already long day to make sure that my husband had the surgery he needed, at the time he needed it. We highly recommend Dr Neil Bhayani, and would happily write a more detailed referral to anyone who has questions. Thank you Doctor! You literally saved my husband’s life, and have given me my husband back!

Dr. Bhayani removed my gall bladder in an emergency situation. He was thorough, easy to talk to, compassionate, and my results were spectacular. I would definitely return to him if the need arises.
