Dr. Neil Amdur Busis, MD

i came to see him he doesnt exam anything and i found out myself for serious diagnosis. he seemed to listen, however my note was horrible. i wont recommend him at all/0 star.

Think he must be burned out. Made obvious mistakes but was trying to be nice but snapped at me when he took what I was saying the wrong way. The hospital system treats Doctors poorly. Good article on Doctor burn out in the new York Times.

sadly, I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Busis.. Was in the hospital having trouble walking when I saw him. He diagnosed me with MS, wrote to my car insurance saying was not caused by auto accident, I had MS. I suffered a long time because of this. Saw Dr. Maroon and he knew immediately it was my neck from the auto accident. He said it was so bad if someone had bumped me wrong I would have been paralyzed. Put a metal plate in my neck and Im fine. Dr. Busis did much harm with his missdiagnoses. Worst Doctor.

Condescending.

The receptionist was rude. Dr. Busis is arrogant and dismissive.

I have been seeing Dr. Busis for about 8 years. The diagnosis of Browne Sequard Syndrome was made by Dr. Busis and my PCP. He takes time to explain everything in layman's terms. Quality of care is excellent.

Yes he is very difficult to get an appointment with. No one ever returns my calls true. But when i finally had an appointment with him he figured out what was wrong with me. No one else had figured it out for fifteen years. I saw numerous well known and respected neurologist that either had no clue or wrongly told me it was a conversion disorder. I am so thankful i went to him. He was pleasant and humble as well. If you or your loved one needs a diagnoses i would highly recommend them.

I had to wait 3 months to get an appointment. He was very thorough in ordering tests. I was encouraged that he would find a solution to my pain. The results of the blood tests were available in a few days. Some of the results are not in the normal range. I have repeatedly called and emailed and no one has been in touch with me in a month. I am extremely frustrated! What good are tests if the doctor doesn't see the results or if he does see them and doesn't communicate with the patient. His office staff also doesn't communicate. He wanted to see me in a month from the initial visit, but there is NO AVAILABILITY!

Painful experience.
