Dr. Neil Eliot Lattin, MD

Dr Latin is a horrible doctor he doesn't look up from his computer he speaks to me in a harsh tone at every appt I have been seeing him for many years he has never sent me for test I don't even know what my diagnosis is or why I'm on the meds I'm on his staff is very rude and treat me poorly one said to me he wrote you the prescription now what do you want him to do fill it for you too. He changes my dosage without even going over it with me and if I call no matter what for they won't speak to me they just transfer me to the prescription line. I'm trying very hard to find a new doctor. I do not recommend Dr Latin to anyone I repeat please don't go to him if you value your health

I recently switched to Dr. Lattin. Carlotta was very helpful and friendly to me on the phone and put me at ease about my nervousness in switching doctors. When I arrived for my appointment Carlotta was very friendly and professional. I also love Tara, Dr. Lattin's nurse. She explained everything to me and was super friendly. When I met Dr. Lattin he made me feel very comfortable. He was very thorough and pleasant and answered my questions. I am glad I selected him as my primary and would recommend him in heartbeat!

His receptionist Carlotta needs to go. For years I have watched this woman belittle patients roll her eyes and do as little to help the patients as possible. Dr Lattin does not look up from his computer screen long enough to form a relationship with you and he is very vocal about his opinions (in a harsh way) He couldn't remember the last time I brought my son to see him and when I told him it was 3 months prior he accused me of not being truthful because the computer doesn't lie (his exact words) I had it and now looking for a new doctor. I only stayed as long as I did with my family because of his Nurse Ruth (which he did not treat well) Now that she is gone so am I.

I've been a patient for many years and must concur with the previous writer re: the receptionist being his downfall. She seems to work hard at avoiding work and I've caught her being downright dishonest to avoid going out of her way to serve the patient. One nurse, Ruth, is outstanding in both patient service and interaction, follow-thru and compassion. Dr. Lattin has stuck with me thru many years and many issues and although often overly rigid & judgmental, I generally trust his judgment.

Dr. Lattin is VERY vocal in his opinions (though not always right, he's still vocal) I gave his staff 3 stars, I don't really think his staff should be punished for the receptionist incapabilities she is very lazy and will most likely be his down fall. If it weren't for her, I'd give his staff 4/4 stars. Diagnosing accuracy in part is good in general, but kinda iffy in areas, for 1 of a few examples, diagnosing skin cancer as an infected pimple, not very good. He is very caring and will spend time talking to you, with his it's my way or the highway additude (not always but often) I like same day appointments (which again his receptionist is trying to do away with along with doing referrls if she can, make sure your referral is done BEFORE your appointment or you WILL be stuck with the bill, don't rely on her sending it later)

Has always listened to me ,gave his opinion or offered a second Dr. for their opinion. Seems to be a very good person , does his best to really help , I have many complex problems he has helped me.
