Nicholas F. Marko, MD, FAANS, is a Neurosurgeon with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. Dr. Marko specializes in neurosurgical oncology, including radiosurgery, pituitary surgery, and awake craniotomies for surgery in eloquent cortex. In addition, he has taught neurosurgery, bioinformatics, computer science, and mathematics at several leading universities. | Among his many accolades, Dr. Marko is a recipient of the American Brain Tumor Association?s Young Investigator Award and the AANS Neuro-Oncology Award. He was featured in Genome Technology Magazine as one of the nation?s premier young investigators in the field of genomics. Dr. Marko was also valedictorian of his class at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Marko is an expert advisor in data and analytics for pharmaceutical and other healthcare-related companies.
