De Davis is the best provider ever

Dr Davies is great

I really like Dr Davies. She is thorough and listens to me when I have questions or issues. Her staff is always friendly. I can get in and out of appts quickly - with labs done too. I drive from SE Virginia to see her!

Dr. Davies and her staff were the worst I have seen in the past 20 years. I am a healthy individual, but this one-time visit brought me much much more stress. The staff was irresponsible for either setting up appointments or filing your medical record correctly. They changed the nature my appointment without notifying me. They charged me with a big bill without even the doctor performing any checkup. One more thing, the office never pick up calls. So, you cannot reach them when you want to find someone the most. Recommend not to use them if you can!

I want to start by saying if zero was an option that is what Dr. Davies and her practice would get from me! Dr. Davies and her staff have changed my life forever. It is understood when chosing a primary care provider they will call you back and keep you informed. This did not happen. They did not follow through on A HIGH PRIORITY REFERRAL. My 18 year old daughter was admitted to CHKD Jan 3 of this year and died Feb 4. From complications of Leukemia. Because of their lack of follow up I will never see my child again. I hope and pray this does not happen to any of their other patients!

Dr. Davies is the most prompt physician I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I have learned to show up about 10 minutes before my appointment, and am always called in promptly. I enjoy her directness, and find her manner very pleasant and casual.

They overbook appointments so even if you get into a room quickly, you have to wait while the doctor bounces back & forth. Even though she's nice, it's obvious she has somewhere else to be and rushes the whole exam. Last time I was there, she had her hand on the door trying to leave 3 times while I was telling her about issues I'd been having. The physical exam was less than a minute before she starting writing prescriptions without even reviewing my chart. I know this because when I mentioned my breathing, she asked "Do you have asthma?", even though she's been treating me for it over 5 years! Also, I requested a refill for a prescription I've been on for 10 years and she wrote it wrong, causing the pharmacy price to double. I contacted her office to have it resolved and it's been almost a month with no change. She also won't perform a full physical unless it's scheduled months in advance. I feel that she cares more about quotas than patient care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Davies ever since Dr. Traugh re-located and I have nothing but great things to say about her until now. My youngest child is 5yrs. old, which was a high risk pregnancy therefore I was under close care of my OB/GYN since pregnancy. As a result, Dr. Davies has always prescribed my birthcontrol until now. For some reason I didn't get my 30-day automatic refill pharmacy phone call, so I called the oncall Dr. for prescription approval, which was denied. Called Dr. Davies office, Monday morning to be told although Dr. Davies has issued my BC prescription for the last 10yrs+, she will no longer do so because my pap is done eleswhere. So now, I'm left without BC for 4 days now, caught in between my OB/GYN who has never issued a prescription for this and Dr. Davies office who has always issued this prescription but is now refusing because they just got light of not doing my pap. What a way to incovenience your patient of so many years.

I SAW DR.DAVIES AS A WALKIN AT URGENT CARE, I WAITED LESS THAN 2 MINUTES BEFORE BEING SEEN, I FOUND HER VERY CARING, DIAGNOSIS ON POINT, I WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND HER. SHE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE, DID NOT RUSH ME. 4 STARS IN MY BOOK

I had an appointment for a check-up for surgery. My sister or husband always went to the appointment with me because I have a hard time remembering what is said. I'd been a patient at the practice for 10 yrs and she had no problem with them coming in with me except this time. I had to delay the surgery and found a new doctor. Once Dr. Traugh left it all went Down Hill!!!!
