Dr. Nilesh Devabhai Patel, MD

HE IS AN NEGLECTFUL DOCTOR WITH A SLOW AND LAZY STAFF. SENT MY ELDERLY MOTHER HOME WITH PNEUMONIA. A RADIOLOGY TECH FOUND THE MASS IN HER LUNGS. AFTER GOING TO TWO DIFFERENT DOCTORS AND THREE DIFFERENT CAT SCANS DONE. THIS WILL BE REPORTED. YOU TREAT YOUR PATIENTS WITH CARE AND CONCERN. NOT AS A DOLLAR BILL! A LOT OF THESE DOCTORS ARE LOSING THAT. IF IT WASN'T FOR THE PATIENT? YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB.???? THANKS TO YOUR NEGLECT DR. PATEL? MY MAMA IS NOW IN THE HOSPITAL FACING DEATH!

I cannot believe this guy has a license to practice medicine. I went in this afternoon because I have three herniated disc and all I wanted was an MRI. I didn't ask for medication or anything else. He then lied to me saying my insurance would not allow him to request an MRI. I had never heard that before. He then told me I'd have to do therapy and take medication for 6 weeks before he could even request an MRI. He decides to prescribe me gabapentin. If you don't know what that is look it up. It's used to control seizures shingles and herpes? Why in the world would I need that. And to top it off the side affects are severe. There's a long list but some of them are Memory loss and even seizures???? I spoke to my pharmacist and he was in shock that I was prescribed it and then I called a second doctor to get his opinion and he quickly told me not to take it. Then I decided to call my insurance which is Aetna, I asked them if there were any requirements prior to ordering and MRI and she… promptly told me no. She then said I can request an MRI or x Ray whenever I wanted and that I did not need to take medication or do physical therapy first. Instead of trying to help this doctor or lack of decided to blow me off ignore my request of an MRI and prescribe me medication that could cause harm to me. Just before I went in to my appointment I saw a chiropractor I also told Nilesh that I got an x Ray and the Dr there told me it was pretty bad. If you have back problems you know if in your x Ray the doctor can see an issue then it's pretty freaking bad. I'm in severe pain constantly and all I wanted was an MRI so I could see a specialist and get some help. I hope this helps someone out before Nilesh does this to you. I will say the nursing staff is awesome and more educated then Nilesh Patel.

I have taken my dad to Dr. Patel as well as my son and grandson and he is wonderful. He spends time with his patient and listens to what they say. I would recommend him to everyone.

I find Dr. Patel to be warm, knowledgeable, helpful, and very competent.My wife and I have had him as our PCP for the past 10 years, and we've always had great help from him in our healthcare needs.I highly recommend him.
