Dr. Nina Kapitanski, MD

After seeing this physician for multiple years she became non-responsive to my request for virtual appointments after a change in insurance that did not impact her coverage.

Dr. K helped me a lot for many years. She made my anxiety go away. She was very nice and had a positive attitude. She encouraged me when I was sad and helped me work through my anger issues. I felt she cared a lot about me as a patient. I'm thankful for her to be my doctor.

I've seen Dr. K for about a few years now. She's the first therapist I've seen of my own volition. I grew up fairly isolated, moving around alot, in an abusive household. I had so many anxieties, I threw myself into work to avoid facing much of the real world. Since working with Dr. K, the quality of my life has improved dramatically. I sleep well at night, I've learned how to be vulnerable to have meaningful relationships, and so much more. Not every person is going to be a good match for every therapist, therapy is hard. For me, I consider myself extremely lucky that she was the first therapist that I sought out.

She focuses on CBT and helped me a TON with my anxiety. She made me comfortable from day 1.

I went to see her for ADHD, depression, and substance use but she told me that she doesn't deal with co-occurring mental health disorders (even though her website says WORD FOR WORD "management of coexisting mental health conditions"). She was very invalidating of my experience and made me not want to seek further help. If I could give her a 0 star I would. The fact that she makes $925 per hour makes me feel physically ill.

I wish I could write less than one star. She gaslights, is a complete moron, has no idea what she is talking about, really outside of her depth and only wants your money. Treats you like a business proposition and not a patient. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PROFESSION IF YOU DONT WANT TO HELP LOL. Please for the love of god go somewhere else - there is also a reason why she turned off her reviews so please take these as a warning and into consideration.
