Dr. Nivedita Jerath

After an unflattering review, Dr. Jerath called my mother, in her eighties and recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, complaining about the review and pressed her to asked that I remove it. This alone was extreme, unprofessional, and stressed my mother even more, while coming to terms with her diagnosis.

I have been dealing with CMT for many years now... I consider it a great blessing that I found Dr. Jerath.....she is an extremely kind and caring person..... takes the time to speak with you and hears what you say......cares about you..... it takes a special kind of person to work in a medical field that deals with illnesses that have no cure ...management of this illness is your goal and that can be frustrating and difficult.. Dr. Jerath makes that burden manageable...along with God's love.

It was a relief to find Dr. Jerath. I live in a different state but I did a telehealth appointment with her. She has a very strong reputation among people with rare neuromuscular disorders. None of my local doctors know anything about my genetic condition, but Dr. Jerath understood everything and could even anticipate concerns before I mentioned them. She was very empathetic and kind. She seemed extremely knowledgeable and yet open-minded and eager to learn more. She expressed willingness to speak with my local doctors on my behalf and to work with them. Basically, she was everything I could hope for in a doctor. Thank you, Dr. Jerath.
