Dr. Noelia Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez is a well educated, highly intelligent medical doctor. She took care of my family for a few years and we felt confident about our medical treatment while in her care. If she doesn't know the answer, she will get it! She thinks outside of box while applying her education and training. Thank you Dr. Rodriguez! We will miss you :-) La Vonnia Villanueva

The previous poster sounded rather childish and one sided. I did not understand the role her 4 year old played. Did not sound like she was looking out for his best interests. My visit was a call. Dr. Rodriguez was very patient with me and didn't hurry me as she realized at age 88, living alone, very ill, and stressed, she gave me lots of comfort by trying to alleviate my pains and lack of care. My mother used to say that a person was like a mirror and reflected the behavior facing him.

Stay far away. You’ve been warned. She is a snob. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I picked her thinking she was young and Latina and would be a little more understanding with me her “peer”. Nope! I got a cold and kept it for 3-4 months. Kept going back in to see her as I have a toddler and wasn’t able to take care of him. I kept hacking and choking on post nasal drip. She got all youth with me and asked if I was taking supplements and I said yes vitamins and juice plus+. She then asked me if I was drinking tea and I was attempting to explain that I make a ginger tea from scratch when she cut me off and said I wouldn’t know anything about that tea as I only use all natural foods. I then explained that so did I. After the fourth visit with her and her nurse showing even more concern with how terrible I sounded, she walks in like ten min late and doesn’t even acknowledge me. Somewhat let’s the door slam. She sits down and logs into computer, still no hello how are you. Finally she said… now what’s wrong? I furious as I had been emailing her for the past four months start getting emotional and explain that I felt like death and nothing was making me feel better. She then says that my cough and post nasal drip was acid reflux. I tell her I have had that previous and this was nothing like that. She then says with an attitude I am not a god, I can’t fix you. Why don’t you tell me what you think it is or what I should suggest to you and we can get on with it. At this point I gather my items and walk out and go straight to member services. She then stays in the room and writes a very unprofessional note on my account saying we had an altercation. Which we did not and I didn’t even address her. I got my stuff and left. I should’ve told her about her self but took the higher road. I know she did this because another doctor told me he read a note on my account stating she had written something. After visiting with a fellow physician in the same practice she was in shock that I had been surviving. She literally said I have no idea how you’re breathing. Your nasal passages are so inflamed and irritated. She also listened to my chest as I was coughing up a lung still. She diagnosed me with asthma and set me up on a medication regimen. In a week I felt so much better and couldn’t believe how quickly I recovered once a real doctor actually took the time to figure out what was really wrong with me. Not acid reflux as she kept pushing as the agenda but never actually checking me. If she had only taken the time to actually be a doctor and listened and looked at me I probably could’ve been better months prior. Instead she let my care slide all because of her lack of medical knowledge and simply wanting to get paid to do nothing. She shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine or be around patient. She must solely deal with basic patients and those that don’t have any other health issues. Because if it causes her to use her medical degree that’s when she treats you like the red headed step child. She talks down to you, mistreats you and acts like you are a burden instead of actually helping you “thrive” as kaisers motto is stated all the time. You’ve been warned.
