Dr. Kane replaced my knee. At the time he agreed to do so my knee was inflamed, red, extremely sore and hot to the touch. My white cell count was 10 times normal. These are all indications of infection. Yet he did not do the standard "c reactive protein" test which would have confirmed the infection. Instead he went ahead with the surgery, my knee was infected, and I had to have two more complete knee replacements. Run, don't walk, away from this guy.

This was my second surgery with Dr Kane. He is straight forward about what the procedure would be. His staff was able schedule surgery fairly quick. Dr. Kane did an excellent job. I was able to return to my normal activities after physical Therapy. I really like that Dr Kane has a very direct approach. I would highly recommend him and infact have taken my Dad to him to be evaluated for surgery.. His office staff are very professional.

Dr. Kane has been wonderful in repairing my dislocating knee cap. He has a very impressive resume, as he served as an orthopedist for the San Diego Chargers and Soccers. On my very first appointment with Dr. Kane, he told me exactly what was wrong with my knee and how he could fix it. Also, he is very sweet and he cares about his patients.

Dr. Kane is an excellent surgeon. He explains the pre-procedure and post procedure requirements extremely well. The patients know exactly what is happening to them and during each stage of the process. His physical therapy clinicians are also excellent. 5

Unfortunately for Dr. Kane, his outstanding services are diminished by the poor service his staff provides and the outrageous prices for the MRI and the braces (billed later through the vendor for twice the price). You will have NOT recourse when you complain. Actually they will not respond at all.
