FANTASTIC PHYSICIAN!

I went for neck pain, have history of osteoarthritis was given no physical exam but x-ray and told I would be given injections for pain...one and a couple days later another...I was unsure what was being treated and got another opinion..I felt the doctor was very casual..it turned out.I had spinal stenosis, pressure on my spinal cord and had surgury to remore the three presure points on my spinal cord and my cervical spine was fused...I was in a neck brace for 5 months..My doctor said that the danger was the spine feels no pain so you have damage and will not know it until its to late..

Very knowledgeable. It is difficult to find a good doctor in Ithaca, but it is clear that Dr. Krause's experience is above what I've been used to as a native Ithacan. I've since moved to New Jersey (just outside of New York City) and have consequently found a new physician, but I would recommend Dr. Krause to anyone close enough to travel to him, as he is, in my experience, the best in his field in the area. Very calm and informative; answered all of my questions, some of which I felt silly asking in the first place. A funny guy, too, if you get chatting with him.

Excellent experience with Dr. Krause. Prompt and spent time with me answering my questions. He really helped with my pain and gave me a quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

This doctor seems to have moved around a lot. He appears willing to see any patient even if he has little experience with the condition. I would not go back to him as the advice he gave me was questioned by other doctors (and for good reason).
