My exsperienc was horrible! First time I meet her she said hey I'm dr.Roach, you need surgery and we are doing it Friday. She put 2 pins in my hand and I had so meany problems. Smh. When the last pin was removed she had to go get spring to pull it put because it was stuck for some reason, it did not want to move. I had said to her that I still have infection in my hand and I only have one antibiotic left she had told me that ok. I now have no circulation in that finger (it stays cold) also it akes really bad and it swells. My finger is all messed up and there his a huge bump in my hand.

I like that Dr Roach does not rush into surgery and tries conservative methods first.

My first impression of Dr. Roach was not very good as I found her to be somewhat brusque and not very friendly. However I was very pleased with the results of my treatment and have been back to see her two more times. She's not warm and fuzzy but she has been pleasant enough and has helped me regain use of my hands.

Horrible, no personality doctor. She forgot that I was waiting for her.

run do not let this butcher near you she lies about her success rate with carpal tunnel surgery and doesn't tell you that you may never use your hand again

Dr,Roach injected my chronic suffering wrist (steroid injections) and after a very painful night iced it, my chronic suffering & swollen wrist was much better by day 2 and the chronic swelling has also subsided that has been there for many years, a month later so far so good, the injection hurt a lot but thats normal i hear, she did a good job,going back to have other joints injected.

First broken bone in my life, simple nondisplaced wrist fracture. I had managed on my own for 5 days after getting a Spica thumb brace I couldn't stand to wear from Urgent Care ("this is the best we have"). Wanted more protection. I had read on the Net about Volnar splints and removable sugar tong splints, it said often these are splinted first week or two before casting. I told her that I had been hoping for something removable, had been using ice for pain management. She agreed that ice wouldn't work with a cast. Gave me a choice of colors. Said nothing about pain management, nor why a cast was necessary. Just put it on. First couple hours it was ok, then gradually started to ache. Got worse and worse. The following day I didn't get a chance to try to reach her until afternoon, tried the same number in Ithaca that had given me her Cortland number for the appointment. Got a voice mail saying they'd call back soon if it was before 5. It was 3:30. Called back at 4, still voice… mail. So I looked on the web for another number, that one said she'd switched offices. Called the new one, who said she was gone for the day. Didn't say there was anyone on call. Said call the Cortland office the next morning. I was in so much pain by then I said I was going to cut the cast off. She said go to Urgent Care. I refused to go back, be there several hours, spend another $150 copay. I cut it off. Cancelled follow-up. Looking for another dr.

Saw Dr Roach once for outpatient surgery and another time for a shoulder injury. In both cases I received skilled care without over treatment or testi ...

This doctor diagnosed and treated me with satisfactory results on all counts.

Don't EVER see this person. Simple break compounded to severe, painful pressure sores from haphazardly applied cast. 2 extra visits -- one to my own doctor, one to change out the cast after a week, still painful. best medical trick of the week: according to the records she supplied to my new orthopedist: "meticulously examined" my hand for pressure sores from no closer than 5 feet away and without actually touching my arm or hand at any point in the visit, or actually seeing them. I should have had my husband photograph my hand in the office when they took off the cast.is there a law against falsifying medical records?this office is a medical accident waiting to happen.
