Typo on my review below. I have never done hard drugs or drugs of any kind.

Wait over an hour to be seen. I was not listened to and as a result, I was negligently misdiagnosed with an incredibly rare condition with seemingly little match to my symptoms that is brought on by hard drugs. I have done drugs. The next doctor diagnosed me with a curable and common condition fixed with basic PT. Not a good doctor.

Dr. Pflaster is aces in my book. Very friendly and caring. Speaks to you on a level you understand. Questions answered in a professional manner. Would highly recommend Dr. P to my family and friends.

Dr. Pflaster saved my mother’s life. 2 weeks before Christmas My mom suffered a stroke, we were helped by exquisite ER at the Peconic Hospital in Riverhead. When they exhausted their resources, something magical had to be done to save her brain. Dr. Norman was that magician- he quickly assessed all probabilities, arranged her surgery with non other than the head of neuro-surgery at Stony Brook. There was no second spared, everything was executed flawlessly. 4 hours later my mom opened her eyes and could speak. For days I remembered the image of a mysterious doctor who hugged me as I was crying in ER and said that he will do everything to help my mom. Turns out he was thinking of us, 3 days after the surgery he called Stony Brook to find out how my mom was. My heart is overwhelmed from gratitude, countless doctors and nurses work tirelessly to give people their lives back. They deeply feel the preciousness of human life, they do magic to give it back to you whether you want it or not.… God has no hands but our hands. Dear Dr. Norman I hope you have a healthy and abundant life for all the lives you have saved. Much love.

good doctor, too bad it's about impossible to get an appointment with him...even when having major issues!!

My only regret is my not finding Dr. Pflaster sooner than I did. Approximately ten years had passed since the onset of my disorder, during which time I remained undiagnosed, or misdiagnosed; received suggestions for spinal surgery without further testing beyond a simple X-ray. This was all accompanied by a denial of coverage, and sabotaged care. Upon meeting Dr. Pflaster, I was impressed by his attentiveness, and his in-depth knowledge of my disorder. The very next day, he arranged for treatments, and cutting-edge testing. Dr. Pflaster's proficiency and compassion have restored my will to live when I was close to giving up. A word about So. Shore Neurologic Associates---they are organized; skilled; professional; and are always there to help without delays.

I have never met a doctor like Dr. Pflaser. There are only a handful of doctors that take the time to examine you and listen to you the way that he does. He really spends the time to try to diagnose and help you find an answer. I would highly recommend him.

I called for an appr. and was scheduled within 4 days. Arriving to the office I was greeted kindly and was taken into an exam room within ten minutes. The staff was professional, and more than couteous. Dr. Plaster was thorough, patient and reassuring with his opinion, diagnoses and treatment plan. I was scheduled for testing, authorizations were obtained and appointments were made diligently.
