Dr. Norman E Risinger, MD

Dr. Norman Risinger has been taking care of me for a number of years. That in itself should tell you all you need to know. He and all his staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. You always feel that he truly has your best interest at heat ... no pun intended.

Dr. Risinger made me very comfortable when reviewing my test results. Very straight forward with no beating around the bush - a communication style I prefer.

Dr. Risinger has been monitoring my leaky heart valve & aneurism in my upper aorta for over a decade. He has always taken the time to make sure all my questions & concerns are addressed. I've gone from private insurance. to Obama Care, & now Medicare and the staff always makes me feel like my appointment is important to them & I seldom have to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. I feel very fortunate to have Austin Heart & Dr. Risinger monitoring my heart health. James Wood.

Been with him a couple years. Takes time to answer questions. The post-echo results were not delivered by him, but by a nurse over the phone. Ideally I would have liked to talk to him, but she did a good job as well.

Referred by my PCP when I experienced cardiac symptoms. Went directly to Dr Risinger's office and was quickly seen. He was very reassuring to me. Very impressed with his attentiveness.

We went to another doctors office last week and waited 90 minutes. We have never waited at Dr. Risinger's - he has spoiled us. He is an excellent listener, too.

I got stented 8 years ago and have been Dr. Risinger's patient since then. Dr. Risinger advice has been a great help in preventing any further complications with my heart since then. It is always a pleasure to see him and his feedback during the visits is always very valuable. On addition to that, the staff at this office is very professional and cordial.
