Dr. Norman Wendell Todd JR., MD

Our appointment was for 10am, we were not seen until 1.30pm. From our cubical, we could hear Dr Todd telling the nurses that he would see other children first because he didn't have to spend as much time with them. The appointment was made three weeks prior, yet when we arrived he decided that was the time to start emailing other hospitals to get her history, although she has in fact been his patient for over 10 years. During this time, we witnessed 4 other family's walking away before being seen.all of whom were totally outraged. The poor family after us had the cubicle door open, and Dr Todd was not afraid to announce that he was taking his lunch. My daughter had been experiencing severe pain. Because of her syndrome self is on a lot of drugs from the benzo type. He seemed to think that on top of her taking high doses of xanax ,prescribing valium for the pain was the answer. I called his office four times that same day requesting he prescribe a medication for pain. It is now the… following day and yet another sleepless night for my daughter. With two phone calls already today, my daughter in tears....nothing...no call back, no explanation. We witnessed so many children yesterday crying,with frustrated parents enraged and his nursing staff appalled at his lack of organization and ch

I'm 33. Dr. Todd started treating me at 2. At 6 I had an infection in my ear that was an eggshell thin away from my brain. He saved my life with surgery. At 16 he patched a hole in my eardrum and thanks to him I'm alive and can still hear. Greatest dr I've seen

When I was 8 years old, I was having extreme spells of dizziness. One doctor that I went to actually told my mom that I was making everything up, and that I needed to see a child psychologist. My mom did not believe him and kept searching for answers. The next specialist we saw was Dr. Todd, and he found the culprit of my dizziness - an epidermoid cyst that was left of my medulla. He forwarded my case to Dr. Daniel Barrow, who performed the surgery. I have made a full recovery and am now 25 years old. Thanks to Dr. Todd and his diagnosis, I have been able to lead a normal life!

We've been so pleased with our experiecnce with Dr. Todd and our child's cholesteatoma challenges from ages 6-10 thus far. A skilled, knowledgeable ENT and surgeon, who cares well for both the child and the parents. I started seeing Dr. Todd when I was 17 because of cholesteatoma which I have been battling since about age 5. He explained to ME what was going on in words that a 17 year old could understand, he spoke to me instead of speaking only to my parents. I really liked that he cared enough to make me understand what was happening and going to happen. He knew exactly what to say and how to say it. He was gentle with my extremely sensitive ear and always showed me the up most respect. He is such a pleasure to have as a doctor. I have absolutely no complaints about him other than he shaved my head 3 months before prom :) every teenage girls nightmare.

I am an RN with much experience with specialists from a parent's perspective. Many of the MD's I work with in the emergency room take their children to Dr. Todd. All very pleased, as am I. He is notedly the one of the smartest and most caring physicians I have had the opportunity to see.

Dr. Todd and his staff are very friendly. They truly seem to like the children that come into the office which is always nice in a pediatric setting. Dr. Todd came into the room talking to my (3 yr old) daughter which she and I loved. I like that he treated her like an individual and did not underestimate her just because hse is a child (as I find many doctors do unfortunately). he explained to me what was going on and took the time to also explain it to her in words she could understand. She was not nervous about getting her tubal surgery at all and was happy to go back to his office for her check ups. She and I truly enjoy working with him and his staff, they are outstanding! The only negative thing was that he was booked out for three months when we began and it always seems to take a good month to get into the office for the appointments. But then again I guess that is to be expected with such an outstanding doctor. = ) Everyone wants to see him!

Dr. Todd is my son's specialist, for a very scary, dangerous and chronic illness that he has. We spend a lot of time with Dr. Todd, he performed 2 major surgeries on my son last year alone. He is an EXCELLENT doctor, we trust him alone. When many other doctors have let us down, he has never. He is an expert and he has a natural gift to do things right. My son's well being depends on it, one wrong move during surgery and my son's life would be dramatically altered. Dr. Todd is thorough and takes his time to make sure he does it right and he out his whole heart into his patients, I don't know what we would do without Dr. Todd. My son absolutely adores him as well. He is patient and gentle with him!
