Dr. Norman Robert Weir, MD

this man is a total SNOB! He deserves zero stars. He's rude, arrogant, and just plain mean for NO reason. You can tell right when you walk in the room that none of the nurses like him. They're personalities completely change when he walks in the room. This man has no business still having this job. He needs to be fired. I will never go back there ever again. I am now going to Syracuse where I can get REAL help!

He’s horrible!!!! Rushed through appointment. Didn’t even recognize the problem or answer my questions.

I went to him for a specific issue that was giving me great concern for some months. Upon returning for test result appointment he told me my test was absolutely normal and said my issue was probably caused by dryness and that I should get a humidifier. He was willing to fix a separate issue however, so I could breathe better; this was never an issue. I eventually returned to my general practitioner, since the presenting issue continued, who brought up the report and told me the report showed that I had a significant problem which we concurred was most likely the culprit. I have been scoped by 4 different doctors in my lifetime and his exam was by far the roughest. He acted a unconcerned when I said it hurt. I am actually thankful it turned out this way since I can't imagine how he would have been surgically.

He rushed through my visit by rapidly firing away with questions. I felt like I was being hurried along. If I didn't answer quickly, he became irritated. Apparently I didn't describe my symptoms good enough to the point that he snapped at me then hit his hand on the area he was writing on behind me. I finally asked him if this was his normal interaction with patients then I told him how he was making me feel. He said it was the first time he's ever heard this before. I find that hard to believe. He spent about 5 seconds (if that) looking at my throat, nose and ears. Then made a diagnosis of 3 things that were wrong with me and said I needed surgery. I asked him to explain the surgery. Again, he acted irritated and this was what he said...go into the hospital that day, have surgery, go home and suck on popsicles for a week. Needless to say, I won't be going back! I did like his nurse though. She was very pleasant.

He rushed me through my appointment so quickly, I didn't have a chance to ask questions. He barely considered the main reason I was referred to him, made some highly unusual diagnoses, and when I stopped at the desk to tell them I was rushed out and wanted to ask a couple question, his reply was "she can ask at her next appointment". The office staff is excellent there and I've had great experiences otherwise. I see the other reviews for him are a few years old - obviously something has changed because it sounds like they're describing a completely different doctor

Long story short I have seen him for 3 different procedures and i will say you does a awesome job. Will for sure being going back if any other health issues come up.

Great doctor

Skills as a doctor appeared to be excellent. Bedside manner not so much. May have been isolated incidence or having a bad day.

He has wonderful bed maners, is compasionate and talks to you right up to your level and makes sure you understand what is going on. Gives you all necesary time to make sure you do understand all terminology.Has a gift to calm you down and relax you even in the hardest moments.Very profesional.
