Dr. Nouhad Bahij Damaj, MD

Worst GP office hands down. I’ve been seeing Dr. Damaj for about 15 years. But I recently decided that my mental health, and stress level from dealing with his office is not worth my health nor time. I’ve been subjected to dismissive comments over a health condition. Completely unethical. Of the many issues they have, this office doesn’t return emails, second they don’t return phone calls, thirdly nobody will take responsibility for providing medical records. I have on file a Signed release form to get these records expedited. I asked for these in an email and they have not been provided. I called to inquire about my medical records being sent to a new GP and I was told that it’s $.60 per page and that it takes up to 60 days. Dealing with his office is like pulling teeth. It’s an incredibly painful experience.

Great Doctor. Has helped my Family stay healthy since we moved here to Vegas.

I don't even know where to begin, been there many years, can no longer excuse Dr. Damaj's complete lack of control of his staff. In 10 years I've called maybe 15-20 times, NEVER had a call back, NEVER had a voice message acknowledged or returned. Then there's the sloppy ultra sound work - I actually had to point out to the operator where and what she was looking for - I could see it clearly, she didn't have a clue.....and just try and get them to properly file required exam paper work to medicare or secondary providers.... and God forbid you should email them or send a letter in desperation, then you get treated like the scum of the earth. There is SO much wrong going on in that office, that the ONLY way they're ever going to make it right, would be to close it down - fire the entire, uneducated staff, front office workers, etc. and spend the time and money to rehire competent staff. Oh...and they need to stop having non english speaking people calling patients and giving medical… advise, not sanctioned by Dr. (I asked if the advise was from Dr. - they said no). I'd be surprised if there weren't a ton of law suits and complaints to the Medical Board.

No doctor is good enough to overcome an office staff this bad. If you have to call them (heaven help you) you will be on hold FOREVER then either the call will be dropped, put on hold again or they'll talk to you then not do what they say they'll do. I have been a patient of Dr. Damaj for many years. I am looking for a new doctor because I can't take his staff any longer!

The office staff and customer service is the absolute worst in town! Just like many other reviews, Reaching anyone by phone is impossible. I ran out of the medication I take and needed a refill. This particular medication cannot be stopped abruptly. Well, I called the office and was on hold for 20 minutes. At the 20 minute mark, someone picks up the phone and says "hold please" and puts me back on hold! I then waited for another 40 minutes when someone finally picked up the phone. I gave the woman all my info. She said she would give the message to the appropriate person and have someone call back within 24 hours. It has now been 3 days and still no callback for my meds. My pharmacy sent a request and still nothing from the office! This is unacceptable and I will be finding another doctor who actually cares. It says this on their website: We are committed to providing the highest standard of quality patient care and we are always prepared for what may come. What a… joke!

I visit Dr. Damaj for my yearly physical. He listens to your symptoms and orders the correct tests to make an accurate diagnosis. He has always been spot on with catching my medical issues in the early stage. Thank you

Been a patient 6 years, Nouhad is good, he listens, takes action, pleasant, Board Certified, no problem getting a quick appointment...EXTREMELY unusual!! Office waits have improved greatly, along with phone service. Doc is working on improving staff performance. He's now using PA's, still taking patients himself. Go For it.

Under Staffed. Hold time for appointment can be 30 minutes if not longer. Waiting time to see Dr. D can be long. Bring a good book or kindle.

You can love Dr. Damaj all you want but please know that he is 100% responsible for the way his practice is run front the back office to the front office. Hopefully I will live long enough to find another solution to my health care needs.

I am currently a patient of Dr. Damaj at the Welbuilt Rehabilitation center in North Las Vegas ! I was transferred to this facility for treatment of a bacterial blood infection that will require 2 months of IV antibiotics to relieve me of the excruciating pain that this disease has left me in ! I am 60 years old and have been under the care of many doctors across the United States throughout my lifetime. Dr Damaj has an impeccable bedside manner and has consulted with me about every aspect of my treatment to include pain and nourishment management and has made me feel optimistic about my recovery. I have only lived in NLV for 2 years and 9 months and I have no doctor in Nevada but I have inquired about joining him in his private practice ! It is of great comfort to me to be under his care and I would definitely recommend anyone who is in need of a Doctor to seek out his care !!!
