I couldn't be happier with my choice of Choosing Dr. Ghogomu to perform my surgury. He is highly skilled and answered every question i had with answers i could easily understand. I am very blessed to have Dr. Ghogomu as my Otolaryngologist; specifically sinus surgeon in my case. I had an extremely difficult case of sinus issues with polyps blocking air flow through my nose and Having no air flow through my sinuses at all. I could not smell, I could not taste, sleeping, eating, drinking, and talking were compromised. There were other Doctors that Informed me on numerous occasions that turned me down- stating they could not help my case as surgery would not be successful and my case was “too difficult”. They even Observed my polyps growing to the point where they were visible in my nose. Dr. Ghogomu was the only Doctor who stepped up to help me, look into my case, and rescue me with surgery. From the first phone call, a few e-mails back and forth, and follow up with pre- op procedures and appointments, he gave me the courage and reassurance that I needed through my trust in him, and knowing I would be in good hands, to go forward with surgery. It has been… approximately six months since my surgery, My quality of life for these past six months in relation to my sinuses being cleared, has been the blessing Dr. Ghogomu afforded me. I suffered for approximately ten years before finding Dr. Ghogomu. He has made a difference in my life. I will always be grateful. He continues to be invested in my plan of care and I have not met a friendlier, more professional Doctor from start to finish and through follow up, than Dr. Ghogomu.

I went to see Dr. Ghogomu because I had two blocked tear ducts and "cried" all day long as my tears could not drain properly. Dr. Ghogomu repaired my blocked tear ducts endoscopically. I have a small nose and tiny tear ducts which made the surgery more technically difficult, and Dr. Ghogomu did a great job. My tears now drain appropriately-- which is amazing because I can do all of the things I love without a tissue constantly in hand. As I went into surgery, I felt that the surgical team had many safeguards in place to protect me from mistakes and infection. I was able to ask all of my questions. My recovery went as expected. I also greatly appreciated that Dr. Ghogomu was accessible to answer my questions after surgery. He called me the day after surgery to make sure my recovery was going well, and was responsive to an email I sent even though it was a weekend. I will recommend Dr. Ghogomu to my closest friends and family if they need sinus surgery.
