Dr Vaz is such caring and compassionate Physician . She made sure I was aware and educated on all my Chemo treatments. I would highly recommend her .

My husband was treated by Dr Vaz for Stage 4 liver cancer. My husband was getting his very first IV treatment and the patient across from him was having difficulties. 3 nurses were on it!!! With a few minutes DR Vaz was at his side . No waiting on a Dr to call in orders.. She was THERE. After my husbands FIRST treatment he received a call that night from Dr Vaz checking on him. I was amazed that any Doctor would do that. I am a Cardiovascular RN and that does not happen with any other Doctor I know of. Dr Vaz always took the time to educate my husband on each process, procedure and medication every step of the way . All medical treatment was tried and when my husband liver cancer quit responding to treatment most Doctors would have said” it’s time for hospice “. Dr Vaz ( with compassion and genuine kindness) found a case study at the National Institute of Health that my husband may be a candidate for. My husband was a patient of Dr Vaz from June 2023 - January 2025 .. I have read some… of the awful reviews on this page and this is NOT the same physician. We experienced nothing but kindness and Grace from Dr Vaz. She had such empathy and compassion for both of us every step of the way. You could not have a better oncologist for your loved one during such a difficult time. Her expertise gave me an extra year with my husband and I KNOW I would have had that if it were not for Dr Vaz

Dr. Vaz was my oncologist for my Triple Negative Breast cancer and was nothing short of a miracle worker! She was extremely knowledgeable, , compassionate, patient and kind. She did not sugar coat things which with cancer, nothing should be. She made sure I understood my diagnosis from the very beginning and led me every step of the way. I would venture to say that Dr. Vaz is one of the best in her field in this country. I would recommend her to anyone that is or was in my shoes.

I have known Dr. Vaz for 7 years. In 2018 I started seeing Dr. Vaz. She has always monitored and listened to my concerns. Dr Vaz has always given positive feedback. In 2020 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Dr Vaz started me on chemotherapy 2 days after my results came back. She was very knowledgeable and was quite OK with me getting a second opinion or even considering clinical trials. I continued to get X-rays, Scans,MRI’s, etc. She scheduled labs every week. She explained my illness and options. She also insured that I understood the treatments. She always answered all my questions. She took as much time as I needed. She helped coordinate my treatment plan with the national VA in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2021 I had a stem cell transplant. She continued to monitor and follow up with my care. Sadly, she is no longer with the VA and I miss her being apart of my health care team dearly. A+ 100

She is an evil doctor… I wouldn’t trust her to care for my ***** cat.! Very unprofessional.!!!! Very rude.!!!!

Would not recommend her for any level of care. Changed providers after 3 weeks.

I went to my scheduled appt 2 days after being in the ER for abdominal pain. I brought my ER paperwork and lab values. She asked 'Do you know why you're here ?' *@(#)*#@) I know why Im here. I said 'I have a UTI infection' She said 'You do not have a UTI infection' She said 'You do not have cancer.' I said 'That's good' I have complained about a month with pain in lower right quadrant. I have to change my posture. No response to this pain. No response to ER visit with BP over 200 2 days ago. I left. 'Thanks for the help' Scheduled appt. Complaint filed w VA. Patient Advocate contacted for pain medicine. Won't go back.

Tells patience they don't need 2 opinions an says she been doing for 10 years that she knows what's best . Straight garbage. I wouldn't recommend taking a animal to her neverless a human.
