Dr. Obianuju Christine Okeke-Muanya, MD

I was so disappointed with my experience with Dr Okeke. The first visit- she was very patient and listened to me and ordered bloodwork. My blood work came back positive for antibodies. She recommended a panel of test the cost close to $8000. When I started to ask her questions or asked if it was necessary, she got really upset. She pushed this test on me -a test that I clearly could not afford.( when I switched doctors and showed them the test she was recommending, without even knowing the identity of Dr. Okeke, my new doctor said this was a scam) Subsequently, I had to ask her a question and she refused to answer it saying she will charge me $45 co-pay. A doctor that cannot answer medical questions ( she said her time was valuable and hence the copay request ) doesn’t deserve anyone’s business, Certainly not mine. I switched doctors and have been satisfied my new rheumatologist .

Dr. K, makes me feel as though I am her only patient. She takes as much time I need, never a rush. She listens to my medical issues and explains to me in medical terms where I understand. I have never had to wait to see her, she returns my phone calls and her staff is just as caring. I have never left her office having the unknown feeling. She make real sure you understand and no other questions. It would be nice if other doctors were like Dr. K. If I had a Medical Award - Dr. Okeke would receive it.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Okeke, I feel in love with her excellent bedside manner. She is very knowledgeable, patient,and, a great listener. Very respectful of your comments. I never felt rushed or intimidated. This lovely doctor talks with her patients. I can not say enough to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude, and as a side bar I am a registered nurse with 33 years of experience.

The staff at Dr. Obianuju Okeke's office were courteous, professional and a joy to deal with. Dr. Okeke was patient, answered all my questions and made sure I understood the issues before I left. I will highly recommend her to my family and friends.

Dr. Okeke is very thorough and makes sure that all of your concerns are addressed.

She is a great doctor, good at daignostics of youre problem. Understands your persona needs and hears what you say to her.

overall experience is excellentno one has examined me as thourouly as she didi have aleady recommended my family members to her and will do it againshe listens. i mean she listens something you don't see often in doctor's offices today.her patience is extra-ordinary
