Praise God for Dr. Chimata and her team. If you are reading this and feeling hopeless about your health, please keep reading, because finding this clinic was an absolute answered prayer for me. ?For 16 long years, I woke up every single morning in 10 out of 10 pain across all my joints and muscles. I sought answers back then, but was just brushed off with a diagnosis of "osteoarthritis" and basically told I'd likely be immobilized by the time I was 60. She ordered a T-spine MRI and referred me straight to Dr. Chimata. ?From my very first visit at Katy Rheumatology, Dr. Chimata truly listened. She knew exactly what to look for and ordered the exact tests needed. The results finally revealed the truth: I have two autoimmune diseases. ?When I got the news, I literally shed tears. Not out of fear, but out of pure validation. After 16 years of suffering in the dark, I finally had proof that it wasn't just in my head. Less than 24 hours later, I woke up with a huge smile on my face. Yes, this is a lifelong condition I will have to manage, but God is so good—we finally have a real treatment plan ready to go as soon as I recover from my T-spine surgery. ?For the first time in over a decade, I have a true sense of hope that I am going to get some quality of life back. I firmly believe God blessed Dr. Chimata, Dr. Huang, Delmar, and their entire teams with the wisdom and compassion to finally bless me with these answers. I was referred to Dr. Chimata by my primary care phy. What a fine physician, what a fine human! She is thorough, she listened to me, answered all of my questions, explained my new diagnosis & the treatment required. She set me at ease immediately. I was/am deeply respectful of her & so grateful she is my rheumatologist.

Dr. Chimata is the "Gold Standard." When other doctors have given up on me, she has not. She listens and wants her patients to feel better. Sometimes, you may have to wait a bit longer in the waiting room. But, wouldn't you want quality over quantity? (FYI-the longest I have waited was 1.5 hours). I wish I could "gate-keep" her!! Amazing! Her office staff is just as AMAZING! Oh, she answers patient portal questions, too!
