Dr. Ofelia Marin is an exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced pediatric gastroenterologist. From our first visit, it was clear that she has a deep understanding of complex gastrointestinal issues and decades of clinical expertise to draw from. She approached my child’s case thoughtfully and thoroughly, asking detailed questions and taking the time to look at the full picture rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution. What stood out most to me was her diagnostic insight and her willingness to explain what was happening in a way that was clear and medically grounded. She is very direct and confident in her recommendations, which I appreciated, especially when dealing with ongoing or difficult GI concerns. Her treatment plan was practical, evidence-based, and focused on long-term improvement rather than temporary fixes. Dr. Marin is clearly passionate about pediatric GI care and advocates strongly for her patients’ health. While her communication style is straightforward… and no-nonsense, I found it reassuring given the complexity of my child’s condition. Thanks to her care, we gained clarity, direction, and real improvement. I would recommend Dr. Marin to parents looking for a highly experienced pediatric gastroenterologist who is thorough, knowledgeable, and committed to solving challenging digestive issues.

The most companionate, knowledgeable, and helpful physician I have ever had the experience with. Like every parent you are concerned with your child’s wellbeing. As a first time mother of a medically complex child, who aspirated and required a G-tube placement and had several food intolerance. She was always open to discuss my many questions and even discuss blended diets. Which I found a lot of trouble with other GI physicians. She is always continuing her education and offers her knowledge to all. I truly believe she is the reason why my daughter is no longer considered “failure to thrive” and would drive to any location to continue my daughters treatment.

Worked us right in when daughter was sick everyone in office was very helpful.

It was easy to obtain an appointment with Dr. Marin & her receptionist was very personable. Dr. Marin had a very curt & course manner about her which was unexpected for a pediatrician. We believe we achieved the goal we had in having our daughter assessed by her but would look elsewhere if her treatment required further diagnosis/assessment.

Dr. Marin is a terrific doctor. She has greatly helped our son. We struggled to get a diagnosis for him until we saw her. He was only 15 months old when we we referred and she did an excellent job sorting out all that was going on and providing a clear big picture for us. I have to admit that at our first appointment, she seemed a little stand-offish, but as we have continued to go to her, and have developed our doctor patient relationship, it is abundantly clear how much she cares for my son, our family, and children in general. She has gone out of her way to give us samples of expensive medicines to try first to see if they work before getting a full prescription from the pharmacy. She thoroughly explained what was going on and educate us on how to best help our son through diet and has provided us with a great deal of information. I would highly recommend her!

I think that her diagnosis and expertise is great however the ease of being seen and the professionilsim may need a little more help.
